Since October 26, rapper T.I. had been on a court-ordered house arrest for allegedly attempting to purchase three machine guns and two silencers. Two weeks ago, however, the U.S. District Attorney convinced The King’s legal team to take a plea deal that includes 1,500 hours of community service and 12 months in prison. Before he heads off to do hard time, T.I. apparently decided to hop on a remixed version (that is if you count 16 new bars off the top a remix) of Usher’s current chart-topping hit, Love In This Club, and in his rhymes he spits his lines as if his six month house party was really club-arrest. Usher’s long-awaited new album, Here I Stand, drops on May 27.
Listen to Usher's Love In This Club (Remix) ft. T.I. & Young Jeezy More songs from Usher
The famous GARAGEBAND BEAT! Slick one Polow! LOL. Usher, you a fool for buying it. This song is definitely fresh. T.I always comes good and Jeezy is straight (yeeeeaaaah). T.I makes the song listen-worthy, cuz the original was boring to me.
I like how T.I. called Usher "Ush" haha CUTE! anyway DIS iz gud i think i acually like da original betta 4 some reason idk tho becuz i luv T.I.'s verse in DIS song a lot...huh im kinda confusing myself i betta just vote...lol
I never got to rate the original, but this is MUCH better. TI has a great flow like normal, but i still dont like Jeezy's verse. USHER is unreal and once again come out with one of the best songs of the year. Definitely a Banger, just short of classic.
Great track, I don't even mind how it's being severely overplayed on the air waves. Unfortunately I hate these lazy attempts at a remix; I'm sorry but dropping 16 bars at the beginning of the track doesn't make it a remix. Does TI work with the track? Sure it does, his flow and style is definitely suitable for this usher beat. I'm not sure if this is a bandwagon 'remix' to exploit this usher track, I wouldn't blame them if it was since this track is blowing up. There's not much else you can say about this track since it's essentially the same as the original, other then it certainly grows on you and gets more enjoyable each time you hear it (at least I'm not tired of it yet). It's an interesting point that Tankhead made though, I never though about a female addition to this track. But I can't really imagine who or how they could fit that well into this...
lyke that lil speed up feelin ... that is at the beginin .... was plannin on hatein on this song bc there are just too many remixes comein out that arn't "real remixes ..... this is tight .... same beat but feels diff .... in rot ,,,, lyke the diff feelin jeezy adds too
I'm with Obecalp: If you are going to make a remix, please change up the song. I'm tired of artists making a hit song, and then adding a new verse, and calling it the "remix." T.I. killed this, but I was ready to turn it off after his verse.
It's alright. T.I.'s flow was predicatable with this beat. Jeezy's flow actually fits better so the original is better than this. He should do a remix with Kells and T-Peezy.
people are hating because this is the way remixes work...? like seriously there are hardly any "real" remixes these days, i've heard maybe 3 on the booth, and one of those still kept the beat.. anyways basically im rating this as great original, great tip verse, banger.
The song has grew on me since the 1st time I heard it. This remix ain't really no different. Just an extra verse from T.I. but his verse is good tho. I miss the old days were artists would change the beat but I guess an extra rapper or extra rappers will have to do.
i was wait'n for a remix for a while now... lol... i love t.i. However, his verse should have came in later on in the song, I think it would have had a better flow to it... or maybe its just me... i heard this song a million times for the past couple of weeks... video is hot though...
I'm with Obecalp and mmoore: when I see "..... remix" I immediately think oh let's see how they changed the song!! And I get really disappointed when they only add a verse, and the rest of the song remains the same. I find this quite useless! For me remix means mix again, change the song that has to be recognizable! Call it "Love In This Club T.I. Edit"!!
ti did his thing but he did add anything to the song because its already so hotttt, i feel jeezy was the best fit with his gritty rhymes i think this song is five stars with or without ti verse
I like this, and I respect TI for getting on this, I do hope however that he's learned his lesson if he in fact did do what they say he did!
goo Usher...
yea dey been killin dis on 107.9 down here for da past wk n 1/2. luv t.i.!!! yea we do miss him....lol dis girl got mad cuz sumbody said he was goin to jail...she got all upset talkin bout "girl dont b jinxin him like dat"...hahahaha like dats her brotha or sumthin....funny
T.I. fits well with the beat. I love the flow on here. The rest of the song is the same as the original, which is still a great song. Jeezy isn't the best fit for the song, but also doesn't take anything away from it. I like Polow's beat on this one.
