Already well-known in their hometown of East St. Louis, Illinois (a suburb of the STL, but not far from Springfield), femcee duo Unladylike are ready to go national with their nuclear-powered sound. Newly signed to Def Jam and currently scorching the net with their single, Bartender, the girls know that their follow-up (and first Booth feature) has to be something simply excellent! Why all the Simpsons references, you may ask? Because the single centers around a sample of Homer’s catchprase, “D’oh!” which is here used as a double entendre to express how much Dough Gunna and Tee are counting up these days. Complete with a danceable, mid-tempo beat by 3D, Dough is sure to have club DJs calling everyone out onto the dancefloor. For those tempted to slap this cut with a one-star rating, my simple advice is Don’t have a cow, man!

the group name made me think i was goin like 'em.
the simpson's ad lib is hilarious. they kinda remind me of diamond and princess from crime mob. they coo. |

Wit that priceless sample and the catchy hook this track has hit potential, so it can be nothing less than rotation-worthy.
For the track that they are tryin to create, they definitely deliver. Their flows were kinda corny (though I never like many female rappers, wit the exception of Missy, Lauren, Left Eye, and a few others) They do keep the song interesting, tho, just with there were less references to other songs like Stanky Legg, etc. |

I agree with "T Baby." I never thought I would like this record... but after three listens (and M. Burmy encouraging our music staff to roll with it, I bit). The ladies can flow, no doubt about. Though there isn't much of a market for female emcees, they are young enough to really make something work.
Sidebar: I have never watched the Simpsons in my life.

This is tight, love the simpsons samples, VERY original. WAYYYY better than Bartender, should land in top 50 R&B/Hip-Hop if any charts. I would say this group has found their lead single! |

Dj Z I have never watched The Simpsons, just like u. I dunno why, but I have always refused myself to watch them, everyone was crazy about them and I wanted to do the contrary lol! just joking, I'm simply not interested in them. Anyway this song has a really cool production, but I've decided I'm not mad for female rappers. I prefer listening to male voices. They can flow, but I wouldn't stand listening to them! It's in rotation though, they deserve it

Being from the Lou I have to give them a higher rating than i would have...i don't even have to do that cause this song is staright FIRE! It's a straight club song...i can picture everyone from my school straight clowning to this song. Class of 09'!! (had to throw that in) Its real catchy and it got that straight crunk vibe. I can see dances on youtube being made to this song. CRank dat D'uh!!! Lol...oh i had to laugh at my little joke.
