Judging by the overwhelmingly positive reviews garnered by previous features Return and Stakes Is High (Pt. 1), Booth regulars are well aware that Inglewood duo U-N-I are in the game for the pure love of hip-hop. If you need to be reminded just how passionate Y-O and Thurzday are about this “music sh*t,” look no further than My Life the first leaked cut off their forthcoming A Love Supreme LP. After Thurzday relates how his desire to inspire people drove him to choose hip-hop over other, possibly more lucrative career paths, Y-O kicks the positivity up a notch farther, stating that, though he’s damned near broke, the fact that he’s pursuing his dream means every day’s a beautiful one. Featuring a head-bobbing, lightly jazzy beat by Ro Blvd and a hummable falsetto hook, this cut is as listenable as it is lyrically life-affirming—what more could old-school heads ask for? A Love Supreme, U-N-I’s debut studio album, hits stores on the 31st.

These are the homies right her! The production on her is super dope. Track is not bad. My fav from them still is Soul Hop and then K.R.E.A.M.

Constantly looking for new music from U-N-I, these guys are fresh to death. This track falls right into their unique style and originality. They are sort of reminding me of a new-age TCQ. Banger for sure here.

Does anyone realize that U-N-I's long-awaited debut album is coming out in just a matter of two weeks?! Where's the well-deserved hype?! "My Life" is ill. Ro Blvd always continues to surprise with his unique sampling techniques and U-N-I continue to prove that they have one of the most laid back/smooth flows in hip-hop. U-N-I is what underground West Coast hip-hop is all about.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it: I have not heard a single BAD song from these guys. Seriously, every single record that has come across my eardrums has been overly enjoyable. Shouts to Ro Blvd on the serene production.

I love their feel-good vibe. This track doesnt make me feel as good as "Beautiful Day" did, but its right up there. The laid back production sets the mood, along with the smooth vocals on the hook. Both mc's bring great flows wit some heart-felt lyrics. I'm likin dis!

i heard some bars that coulda been improved, but overall this is a really chill track, good lyrics, great vibe, great production, very addictive and relaxed beat, sounds like john legend on the hook? is it? i could imagine jay and nas on this, kinda both 1st and 2nd verse kinda sound like them, but these dudes killd it, big ups really diggin it

I agree U-N-I has never released a bad song, I mean a bad bad song you know the ones that are bad. Like P-Smooth said there is a slight room for improvement but nevertheless great overall track

I think this is a chillin song but I didn't like it. I'm not very fond of chillin songs but some are very good, this one bored me, though. The production is sexy but I didn't really like the overall melody
