The newest talent to emerge from the Old Dominion is Tyra B (not to be confused with the Top Model talk show host), whose independent single Still In Love got national airplay in the spring of ‘06. Now signed to Warner Bros., Tyra’s debut single, Givin’ Me A Rush, offers a heavy dose of Aaliyah‘s silky vocal passion (One In A Million) with Rock The Boat-esque production from Prettyboy & Bradd. When old school sounds and new school appeal are combined, it usually results in huge listenership. Tyra’s debut album, Past Due, will be released next year.
Honestly, I am not really feeling her style or the track for some reason. I can't really put my finger on it. The song is cool and it is a decent beat, but its the way she flows...I don't think its hot...
I actully love this song and I have been a fan of Tyra B when she first came out with "Country Boy" she had some real nice tracks I just wish it didn't take her long to come out....but hopefully things will work out for her this time around
Nice gloves babez LOL naw but for real this beat is BADD but I totaly agree with DJ Blaze, therez somthing about her flow that im not feeling.. Ciara couldve pulled this one off but I just think this chicks voice is too soft to make a powreful song.. its a shame koz it couldve been really good..
I think this song is okay...I think the reason why it's kinda awkward is because her music does not match her image...especially in this photo she has above; she looks like a rapper or lesbo...not even trying to offend anyone but that's what her image looks like...
