With her major breakout single Givin’ Me A Rush continuing its climb up the charts, V.A. songbird Tyra B has decided to make her next single Get It Poppin’ for the club. While Tyra’s vocals remain as strong as ever, a beat from Prettyboy & Bradd is the primary reason why nobody on the dance floor will be disappointed. Sneaking into the club with a verse of his own (alongside his S.O.D. Money Gang click), the underage Soulja Boy flocks toward the dance floor and asks for youuuuuuu (sorry, couldn’t resist) to join along. When all’s said and done, Get It Poppin’ is a formulaic single that correctly appeals to Tyra’s teenage, club-oriented fan base.
This is okae.. i liked Givin Me A Rush betta but this is aiite too.. i think she got a future in da music industry but shez really gotta step up if she wants to show her her full potential.. We might be lookin at the new Ciara here!!! I LOVE Soulja Boiz voice and it is nice to here somthing a lil different from him but im not to sure if im feelin him in this song or not.. kindof a different twist but its aiite!!
Tyra's vocals were a'ight. Soulja Boy was pitiful with his featuring as usual...I must say even worse than his previous "feature" on the Bow Wow and Omarion "Girlfriend Remix".
it'll do well but i jus thk its alright i think she talented jus needs more development. Soulja Boi verse was different but suk im jus glad it was short.
Beat has a bit of a 90s kick to it, the song didn't let her show off her vocal talents at all (lyrics were kinda generic as well). Soulja boy was very entertaining for a while, but his feature on this song sounded like they just sampled from crank that.
Darn, why couldn't I be part of the teen club oriented fan base so I can enjoy this. Oh that's right, I matured and actually songs with some substance or at least have it catchy enough to forget shallow music.
I like this song its something very different. I loved Givin me a rush a lot more..... Her Vocals are okay nothing special here. And for soulja boy....Just horrible
Remember, there are plenty of tapes in your closet that appealed to the same generation Tyra is trying to appeal to. She needs to do away with the Michael gloves, but the pop-club joint works. And I agree, youuuuuuu need to go away Soulja Boy.
i don't like her at all- i just don't. SOULJA BOY= one of my favorites but he didn't do all that great one this one becuz of da beat- that's all. DJ Z, y u wanna have him go away?- u just mean on dis song right?- cause lotsa people luv him.

She needs to go away she doesnt belong..Shes not as likeable as Rihanna and she cant dance like Ciara. Shes pretty but so what..shes kinda boring. And this song is so gay.
Tyra sound like a second rate ciara (she gotta come better than that) & if he say "soulja boy tellem" in one more song...-smh- dang! shut that shyt up...jus some constructive critisism
