Tyler Thomas - Invincible
Artist: Tyler Thomas
Producer: Jake Broido and Zac White
Album: None (Promo Single)
Label: Unsigned
Though Tyler Thomas, the up-and-coming rhymesayer who brought us Never back in early October, hails from Los Angeles, his heart goes out to those on the opposite coast who were affected by Hurricane Sandy. In fact, he’s using his latest promo single and the accompanying visuals to attract attention, and donations to the relief effort. On Invincible, Jake Broido and Zac White‘s sampling of Coldplay’s Fix You sets the stage for Thomas’ lyrical reflections on the themes of hope and perseverance. Broido, Randy Martins and Christian Pierce include footage of the devastation wrought by Sandy in their official video. If this anthemic jam has inspired you to pitch in, visit InvincibleCharity.com to learn more about the cause, and what you can do to help.

I wasn't expecting someone to rap over this. Solid rapping from Tyler Thomas. Really catchy beat and the sample was good from Coldplay. Looking to hear more from him.

Being a lifelong NJ resident, I gotta say that Sandy was worse than anyone here would have expected, but we are Invincible, so we'll live on!... Cool track and dope video too.

His flow is fantastic. And I applaud the fact that he made this track as a message for the victims of hurricane Sandy.. (and the message about 3 min into the song) the music video further shoes how devastating the damage was. Jake Briodo part was a okay, but I liked that they added Coldplay's fix you into the track.

Dope track. I'm glad that Tyler took the time to address this issue. Just goes to show that's there are some really good people out there. Tyler's flow was awesome and the use of the Coldplay sample were nicely utilized as well. Need more music like this in the world.
