When Tyga released his debut album, No Introduction, on June 10, many listeners considered him part of the “new generation” of hip-hop youth. Apparently, he’s also bringing back the real remix trend, rapping a never-before-heard verse for a revisited version of Coconut Juice over a brand-new beat by Jon Famous. That verse is sandwiched between guest features by Tyga’s boss Lil’ Wayne and fellow relative newcomer Rich Boy, all of whom show off exactly how they stunt at the club (hint: Tyga’s choice of drink is the mildest of the three). Even though No Introduction might have fallen off the Billboard 200 Album charts, Tyga’s primary commitment is still to his craft; as long as he keeps that up, you canexpect more enjoyable listens in the future.
Listen to Tyga's Coconut Juice (Remix) ft. Rich Boy & Lil' Wayne More songs from Tyga
chorus brings it down but they mos def rip it. wayne killed it. he brought a lot to the song. that and the beat. if noit for the chorus it would be a banger buttt.... In Rotation
I liked the first one thought it was very catchy and the original this is the second remix the first one just had Lil Wayne on it. So still it's a banger to me.
Before there were only songs with Akon featured, now there is Lil' Wayne everywhere...kinda annoying, at least I liked Akon! Well I like the original song and I like this better, this remix is fire! But I don't think it fits the chorus....the strophes are great, but the beat is out of place with the chorus! Anyway I appreciate the effort to create a totally new version of the track, so to me it's in rotation and could still grow on me
I love the original, but this remix doesnt impress me too much. Wayne or rich Boy dont bring anything big to the track that improves it a whole lot. I'm starting to believe Tyga will be a 1 hit wonder...
I like how its a real remix, with a new beat and verses. Rich Boy's appearance didn't add anything, but this beat is fire. I gotta say I really like the beat, its more smooth and reminds me of how "Love In This Club" was remixed. Wayne drops a decent verse, this isn't bad.
im tired of everyone saying that lil wayne is great, he only stands out because this hip hop era is wack, if wayne had more real mc's to be compared to in this era, no one would be callin him the greatest, he sucks and he is anoying! the song is ok!
I loved da original and i liked da beat but not like da original...but lil wayne kills it as usual, rich boy didnt even make a memorable verse on it and idk y but i lyke tyga's flow its sorta different in a way 2 me always did.
Weezy obviously does his thang... I mean this osng is good but without Rich Boy there would be no loss so i def say play it but its not gonna be a banger for one reason lack of consistancy in the beat... Maybe if the same verse was done by David Banner or Jim Jones itd be better and a club hit
Come on give this song to Wayne w/o him this song would be just another remix to a crappy song. Tyga show me something to make ne wanna like you, cuz really I wanna...but your far off right now. Rich boy wasn't quite there for me; he has a bad habit of picking the wrong tone/pitch and it sounds like he's mumbling.
-- OKAY, SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE HELL
'PUT THE LIME IN THE COCONUT & TWIST IT ALL UP'
MEANS? IS THERE A FIGURATIVE MEANING BEHIND THIS?
I HOPE SO BECAUSE IF NOT, WHAT A LOWSY HOOK/CHORUS
OR WHATEVER! WAYNE VERSE WAS ALRIGHT THOUGH. =)
