Tyga - Diamond Life ft. Patty Crash
Artist: Tyga
Producer: S*A*M & Sluggo
Album: No Introduction
Label: YMCMB/Universal Republic
After tossing back several glasses of his Coconut Juice, you should need No Introduction to California rapper Tyga. On his new single, Diamond Life, however, Ty wants to make clear that he’s not just a party animal; no, he’s a young boss who’s had to work for his paper. Over the percussion-heavy production of S*A*M & Sluggo, Tyga recounts all that he’s had to overcome in the course of his life, including the lack of a family dynamic and battles on the streets. Even though he has endured so much, the emcee comes across as a young man determined to make his own way. To hear more of Tyga’s confessional rhymes, check out his debut album, No Introduction, in stores now.

Love the rock style beat. This song can get you pumped up. Tyga's lyrics are good and the hook is solid. In rotation

That beat goes hard! Tyga hadn't impressed me in his mainstream career yet, but this is definitely a banger. I think this is the best joint I've heard from him. Patty Crash wasn't bad either (I KNOW HER FROM THE NIKKI JEAN BLOG POSTS!). I'll throw this into rotation.

Def. a banger, but he could've come even harder on this track. Love the rock mix.

Tyga's album was all over the place, but this is the lead single on that project and it kicked off the set nicely.
Like I have said many times before in the Booth, and yes - I will say (or type, I guess) it again - people either love the infusion of rock chords or they hate it. This record should prove no different, as evidenced by the early feedback. |

This song is weird but I feel it will be a straight club banger...I won't be wrong I'm sure about this! Production is crazy it has much energy in it and it will be perfect to warm up the close winter ;) The hook is cool, this Patty Crash does her thing. Banger!

I first heard this track like 5 months ago or so, but this one is sounding very different. I was kind of liking the original, but I thought it was way too flat and LQ all-around. But this is sounds so much sicker. Bangin'.
