A favorite pastime of the young (and young-at-heart) generation is waking up on Saturday morning and darting to the TV set to watch the Saturday morning cartoons. Always one to go the creative route with his raps, West Coast rapper Tyga plugs in references to some of his favorite Cartoonz on his newest single. Going from older stars such as Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, and Yogi Bear to modern-era toons like the Powerpuff Girls and Johnny Bravo, Tyga compares his life to the characters’, showcasing some truly animated MC abilities along the way. For even more new-age musical topics, pick up Tyga’s debut album, No Introduction, on June 10.
Haha very creative joint. I like this here a lot, and Tyga for that matter. Its good that hes got GCH and Weezy on his side, he's definetly in good hands. This is a good follow up single, and he's got a unique flow. Def in rotation, might have to check out his album next week when it comes out.
I've been digging Tyga for about 9 months now, since I ran across his remix of "Hey There Deliah" by the Plain White T's. I feel he's a very eclectic and diverse artist. This song was real interesting. A lot of people who's brain is melted from wack Lil Wayne verses and Shawty Lo singles will probably call this wack. But this track is decent. It's not the best, but it's descent. I'm not really fond of the production and the engineering mix sucks horribly. Also, that "Bam Bam couldn't lift my pebbles" line was stolen/borrowed from a Cassidy Freestyle on RapCity. It's not horrible..but I think he needs to scrap this one and try again though.
This song is mad catchy (especially if you listen carefully and catch all of his creative lines that are about Cartoons), but it doesn't come close to the energy of Coconut Juice. With that said, it is not a single and merely a standout track lifted from his forthcoming new album.
This is pretty much the definition of new school rap. I'm not hatin at all, Tyga tryin here to be creative and I can see that, but it just seems so busy. From the production to the lyrics. To start off the beat I wasn't feelin, then Tyga is rapping like a kid with ADD. Lyrically it is unique, but he needs to go back to the drawing board and tone it down, cause this isn't a banger and gets repetitive to be anything else.
No thanx I could never listen to this. The beat ain't bad but I don't like all the sounds in the background (btazn yes it's too crowded)! It's getting on my nerves, it seems a videogame background music
i cant stand this song but i guess its aight if yu just listen tah it...nahh scracth tha this is just annoyin me ryte now...he give a new definition tah tatt'd up no joke
