At just 18, R&B act Tydis has his sights set on becoming the next Sensation from his hometown of St. Louis. Signed to the city’s hottest production team, The Track Starz, he showcases his double threat as a singer/songwriter on Breathe, a song about -what else - a young woman he hooked up with and enjoys spending every moment with. While we all may be familiar with the song’s topic, the beat makers deliver once again by using sound effects similar to Timbo‘s (Diddy Rock, Ice Box, or No Definition). For more slow and upbeat jams, check out Tydis’ debut album, Sensation, which he hopes to release later in ‘08.

The beat and production on this track is SICK by Track Starz. Done really smoothly. I haven't heard of Tydis before; but he has some lyrical skills on this. Not sure if its enough to break him through; but this song goes HARD! Nice Chorus too!

His voice reminds me of Lloyd's. Where it kinda sounds like he's in a female's vocal range. The production is definitely on point and vocals are nicely performed and better yet mixed.

This song is so tight I mean at first when I saw him I was like maybe I should take a look and the song came on I was about to go to something else until I heard him start singing it knocked my socks it tight his lyrics are tight his beat when was excellent but his vioce is tha major part of why I had to keep repeating the over and over I LOVE IT !!!!

Glad to see someone else from my city doin it. From a personal standpoint, this isn't my favorite song from him and that's not downplaying the quality of the record. Expect much more from Tydis in 2008. Proud of ya boy!

This will definitely have to grow on me, but this isn't a bad first listen for me. The lyrics are okay, a little expected but definitely not sub-par. Production is the best, definitely highlights Tydis's voice.
