Having left Atlantic for the “major/indie” route at EMI/Capitol, Twista is enjoying creative freedom the likes of which he hasn’t experienced since he was known as “Tung” Twista back in the day (‘92 to be exact). With the June 16th release of Category F5, fans will get to hear the fruits of his artistic liberation firsthand. Case in point: newly-released street record No Love, which finds Twista letting loose at all the deadbeats as guest feature The Game keeps an eye out for the heat. The throwback feel is capped off (pun intended) by Tight Mike (aka Cuzo)‘s old-school banger of a beat, which cements No Love‘s status as an anthem for both emcees’ hometown streets; after all, Chicago and Los Angeles are the two gang capitals of the USA. Check back with the Booth late this spring, when Twista and DJ Z chop it up the Chi-Town way in an exclusive interview.

This is vintage Twista. Always a plus when you hook up with the West Coast and get The Game on there! I loved the production, definitely a Twista beat. Lookin forward to that rebound album!

I am definitely liking the West Coast feel of this song. I haven't commented in a long time, but I had to ask what is up with all the sampling of Spice 1 instrumentals lately? It took me a second to realize why I fell in love with the production instantly. It's because this is Trigga Gots No Heart from Menace II Society. On a sidenote Nipsey Hu$$le's last song was sampling Spice's song Face Of A Desperate Man . If you don't know who Spice 1 is go to the store and by one his cd's right now (I don't care if the store is closed, you better break in and leave an I-Owe-You note).

This is a good look for Twista, though I'd like to hear more of his rapid fire on this. Thats what makes him so popular and stand out, and without it he's just average to me. The Game was cool on here, and the entire vibe of the song was pretty cool...

This is a pretty good song. I've heard better flows from Twista, but it isn't bad. The Game is slightly disappointing. I just don't think the beat suits The Game or Twista. In rotation. I expected more from these two.

Im with juanito-88 ....
His most potent weapon is his super fast-paced flow which helps him outdo & outwit any beat... this can go in rotation .... |

Two talented artists in Twist and The Game and they dont dissapoint. The beat sounds pretty dope reminds me of a Bone Thugs or Bun B production. Nice lyrics short song but it is definitely banging with Twista's fast lyrics and Game's nice verse!

@XuUP17 - The length of the track is the first thing I noticed when it popped up in my inbox on Friday. Regardless, I'd rather hear two solid verses than three or four mediocre ones.
Nice to see the MW and Left Coast get down. |

This is classic Twista right here. I am looking forward to Catagory F5. The Game fit on this track like a glove. this is heat.

I like the idea of Twista and Game on a track. Midwest meets West coast, however I felt as if neither of em really hit their full potential on this track. It left me wanting more but I'll put it in rotation for now. 3/5

i'll say i've heard best from these two beasts.. song still needs some mixing work. the piano gives this a west coast flava that doesn't fit well with the drum pattern.

the first 14 secs of this song i was like this doesn't sound like a twista track.. i expected to hear the game with lil wayne or maybe rick ross... howeva twista KILLED this. And when it was down he blew its brains out AGAIN! this is great... the beat could use some more... but i guess the whole point is the smooth killa feel.

I'm feelin this joint only because it brings back memories of 91' & 92' when Spice 1 released "trigga gots no heart". Sounds too much like the original down to the way he flows on some of it. I expect more from Twista but will still bang it.

Im a little late on this track, but I dug the production & both Twista and The Game blended well. Hopefully we hear more collaborations between the two.
