True 2 Life Music - Damages
Artist: True 2 Life Music
Producer: True 2 Life Music
Album: None (Promo Single)
Label: Unsigned
From the release of their Every Dream Has a Price album to recent hit Pop That Glock, True 2 Life Music has been building a steadily growing following on The DJBooth. So we’re only too happy to serve as the world premiere of their hard hitting new joint Damages, which finds the Brooklyn trio going into full out hard rock mode, layering distorted guitars over hard charging live drums. On the mic group emcees Slangston Hughes, Concise and K. Words are equally vicious, promising listeners that when they’re through with us they’re won’t be anything left (of our eardrums). As they say, if it’s too loud, you’re too old. While we wait for a title and release date on True 2 Life’s next project, go ahead and get reacquainted with Every Dream, available for free stream and download right now.

This is different. I like the mix of rock and roll with hip-hop. It works nicely here. The beat bumps and the Lyrics by True 2 Life is on-point. Nice work.

I really enjoyed 'Pop The Glock' back then, because it was different.
This is also different but also a little crowded - the production is kinda all over the place |
