Tribeca - True Lies
Artist: Tribeca
Producer: Tribeca
Album: The Pookie Syndrome
Label: Market Men Music Group
I’ve never seen ‘94 action flick True Lies but, judging simply by its Wikipedia page, the film did boast one hell of an ensemble cast (Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Lee Curtis and Tom Arnold all played major roles.). True Lies, the first Booth feature from Tribeca, shares this trait with its name, bringing Boston underground mainstay M-Dot and Camp Lo‘s Sonny Cheeba and Geechi Suede together with the Booth newcomer over the headliner’s own brassy boardwork. Like what you’re hearing? The Pookie Syndrome is scheduled to hit the ‘net this summer, and fans can look forward to the official visuals for True Lies in the near future.

The production has too many phazer sounds and it just sounds "carnival-like" at times. Decent flow by the second rapper and the last one...First one was just OK.

Middle of the road record in terms of sound and style. Not enough here to really love the track, but nothing overly negative to hate on it.

Luvin' da space station type sound & I'm also loving the back & forth flows that don't involve singing & bullshit like most of today's music. Just pure emceeing at it's best!!
