Trey Songz gives us a taste of his new album Trey Day with his daring new single Wonder Woman. After an underrated debut album, Trey Songz proves he’s here to stay by displaying the range and creativity of a true musician. The track opens with a Hendrix-esque electric guitar loop and slowly adds layers of sound until the track is thick with inventive but simple instrumental lines. Songz starts by rapping (not a surprise to those who’ve heard his mixtape work) and transitions into some wandering soulful vocals. Trey Songz is bringing some true heat to the R&B game, here’s hoping the world finally notices.
