Just when you thought it wouldn’t be remixed yet again, Cant Help But Wait has gotten one last makeover. Courtesy of the “World Famous” DJ Clue, Trey Songz’ hit single has been laid out, chopped up and turned into a Desert Storm remix (evidently there is no extra charge for a Rick Ross feature these days.) Following the two previously-released versions, which feature Plies and Lil’ Wayne respectively, the DS remix removes Stargate’s piano-synth beat and replaces it with a maracas-assisted clap-track. Though this remix should lay to rest Cant Help But Wait, Trey’s current single Last Time continues to shine on DJBooth’s Top R&B chart.
Still a good song, the remix wasn't anything special, generic mix beat. It almost dulled the song out a bit. Rick Ross is merely on the intro, the rest is essentially the original. They should probably stop remixing this song.
This beat is pretty cool on this song. I like Rick Ross on here! This definitely sounds like a Desert Storm instrumental. This is done well. I like it.
Go Ricky Ross, he did well on this beat, but not amazing. Trey Songz has never been one of my favorites but he sounds good on this track, real smooth, well produced track. Not one I'd bump often though even thouhg ross is on it.
Damn how many remixes he gon have 2 dis damn song? This remix aint hot, so he can stop comin out wit remixes for this song, cuz they jus keep gettin worse
