Since January, Trey Songz has been the guest feature on eight songs inside our DJBooth. Working with industry heavyweights like LL Cool J and Plies, as well as newcomers Hot Dollar and Yung Berg, the Virginia native’s smooth vocals and debonair swagger have made him a hot commodity as of late. Following the release of last October’s sophomore album, Trey Day, the young singer has been working hard on new material, in addition to touring and charity work. Planning to release a new project sometime later this year, Songz has recently leaked several mixtape-style tracks, including a new record entitled Crazy. While DJBooth is waiting on a confirmation of the production credit, the world it seems might not have to wait much longer for Songz to become the next big thing.

Trey often brings quality tracks to play to ya girl. This is a cool track, it's good to hear him experiment with rappin, not bad. Production reminds me of Work That, by Mary J. Blige slightly.

Wow, different style from trey but I think I like this. This is defintely radio ready and it has the perfect amount of bass. I would put this in the rotation

trey is one of my fave artists right now...and no its DEFINATELY NOT A NEW STYLE!...HE HAS RAPPED BEFORE IN SONGS!!!...its jus tha same old Trey Songz jus makin another hit...straight banger...~

If I heard this song in '08 I would have rated it garbage as well. But I know both sides of Trey; the Album Trey and the Mixtape Trey and love Trey the rapper. I feel he does better on his mixtapes than on this track but I think he handles both singing and spitting rather well. I'm actually getting a kick out of his early rapping skills and impressed to see how far he has improved.
