Wondering where TreaZon‘s been since he teamed up with fellow reader favorite XV back in early October? Well, wonder no longer. In the intro to new promo single Travel Guide (making its exclusive world premiere right here in the Booth!), the Cleveland up-and-comer reveals that he’s been traveling “all around the world” – and he wants you to accompany him on his next sojourn. Backed by Oh!‘s chilly piano-synth-string instrumental (which is strikingly reminiscent of Soundtrakk‘s boardwork on Lupe Fiasco‘s Hip Hop Saved My Life), TreaZon invites a special someone to take his hand and jump on his magic carpet for the ride of a lifetime. OK, I made up the magic carpet part, but the track is a little bit like a hip-hop take on A Whole New World. In any case, TreaZon’s lyrical blend of swagger and sincerity is sure to win over listeners of both genders, as is his slightly off-key but definitely endearing singing on the back end. beat is slightly like "The Spirit" but this too BANGS. im really diggin it. his flow just goes on and on and its nothin that u can easily get tired of.

Aside from the fact that this production work is a carbon copy of Soundtrakk's work with Lupe on "Hip Hop Saved My Life," I like it. TreaZon has an honesty that he brings to his vocals. He is pure talent. No fluff.

TreaZon is another one of those talented artists DJBooth has brought to my attention(the others being K. Sparks, J Polygon, Juice, and Saukrates).
The production was hot. All TreaZon needs is a sidekick; someone to take care of the Hook and all other singing responsibilities. Minus an additional two, for that excruciating ending. |

First of all, Richard's Alladin reference had be laughing out loud, but back to the matter at hand...
The beat may be a little recycled, but Traezon does more than enough to own the track and make it his own. In rotation.

Well, I don't think TreaZon needed any assistance on hook tip, he holds it down by himself pretty well over smooth bouncy composition by Oh! Rotation fa sho!
