Yesterday, TreaZon kicked off his DJBooth.net-exclusive 45 Days series with the hard-hitting Final Bout. Since today’s the 5th, it’s time for us to premiere another brand new record from the Cleveland emcee. This time around, TreaZon treats listeners to a trip down memory lane, using a Time Machine to revisit crucial moments in his personal history. After telling his teenage self to stay in school rather than dropping out to pursue a rap career, the emcee makes one last stop to warn his (future) mother that she will suffer abuse if she stays with his (future) father, knowing that, if she heeds his words, he will cease to exist. It’s heavy stuff, and this is the kind of high-concept, emotionally-charged record that could easily be ruined by melodramatic production – luckily, Beatwize strikes the perfect balance between catchy melody and contemplative melancholy, allowing TreaZon’s poignant lyrics to shine. I'm glad to know we are going to hear new Treazon for the next month and a half. This production from Beatwize is very fresh. TreZon's flow wasn't bad at all. I didn't like the hook as much, but it's a joint worth rotation.

Pretty solid production and his lyrics are pretty good. The hook needs some improvement but he did good on his message.

This is a pretty tight song, and some parts are pretty deep even though the beat is upbeat and playful. His flow is tight on this one, but i'd like to hear a bit of a change-up on the hook. Cool track.

I agree with E-dub, the lyrics and production are really good. This is a good look for TreaZon. I feel the exact same way as him, I wish I could take a trip down memory lane sometimes. As corny as it may sound, it's true. :)
