When Nathan S. first slid TreaZon’s new leak my way he said it was “something different,” and after one listen that description proved to be pretty damn accurate (go figure). While we’ve seen TreaZon develop as an artist via work with XV and Mickey Factz, the Cleveland kid has once again creatively risen to another level with Midnight Train. Opting for some almost hypnotically dark, organ-drenched production from Charlie Hilton, here TreaZon turns his prose into a film-noir type of poetry, describing both the his personal trials and his struggle to be a successful performer and artist: “Even though it’s the darkest and it’s the bleakest night / everything I’m seein’s bright / every single thing’s aligned.” Now those are the words we all need to hear. If you’re digging this track, and you really should be, be on the lookout for his next project, Breathe Life 2, which currently has no release date. And you know you can count on DJBooth for all the latest updates.

TreaZ continues to impress me. When his material first came our way, it was unpolished but full of potential. That potential is still on display here, but much much more refined. Dude is going places...
Impressed with the production work. Didn't expect this, but thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is just a dope all around track. His voice doesn't necessarily pull you in, but the concept and lyrics are ill. Keep up the good work! 3.5 stars.

this is definitely a fav of mine from the homie TreaZon. As a fan of Charlie Hilton's production, this a cool track overall. being one of a few that's heard Breathe Life 2, you all are in for a real treat. TreaZ is definitely one of the most talented young artists.

Not my favorite TreaZon joint. This track is stronger lyrically than beat-wise, in other words, I ain't liking that beat. Still, TreaZon has yet to leak anything wack, which is a promising trait in the modern Hip-Hop climate.

This is a really solid effort from TreaZon. The beat was kinda simple like LeWy said, but it is still effective. TreaZ certainly looks to have a bright future. 3.5 for this.
