Florida hip-hop is synonymous with artists who like spitting game to all the females in the club. From 2 Live Crew‘s ‘86 favorite, Get It Girl, to Flo-Rida and T-Pain‘s #1 hit, Low, it’s a tradition with deep history in the Sunshine State. On their new cut, Spaceship, Orlando group Treal gives this tradition a futuristic twist. Members Eliseo Way III, Poetic, Tsick, and Cheeze spot a female they can only describe as ”out of this world,” so naturally they ask her to bring them inside her Spaceship (how creative!) Since sexually-enhanced, futuristic-lyrics deserve an appropriate backdrop, Kane Beatz (most recently known for his extensive work on Chamillionaire‘s Ultimate Victory) ignites the track with a synthesizer/organ/xylophone beat. Start the countdown now, because it should only be a matter of time before Spaceship blasts off on its mission to Planet Billboard.
This is terrible. They have absolutely no flow. The story of the song is corny, and the beat may be new, but its been used to death. Same ole stuff, wack group behind it.
Im gonna step out side of the box on this one.....they could have made the typical song about the usual but they didnt....so I give em a 3 for trying a different metophorical(dont even know if thats a f*cking word, lol) approach....give a 3 for creativity
this is original, the beat gives takes it to another level, i like the hook, they have put together something you dont hear everyday, maybe not lyrically but it sounds awesome. I hope to hear more from these lads
I think it would have been better with just the beat....painful to listen to. Yet another example how nowadays the beat makes the song, not the artist.
Hmmm....I cant put togher too many words to describe this track that would actually make sense.
First, I hate to admit it but I was once an Orange County resident & this song makes me want to forget the year & a half I stayed there.
<<< Ok, OK, i listened to the track 4 more times, so here's my take >>>
I will say its different & new things tend to hear a lot of critisism, but to me this sucks not so much that its wack, but that it doesnt sound like everything else thats out there right now.
Please someone from djbooth.net find another single that will do justice for these boys on they grind.
DAMN I KOODN'T BELIEVE THE AVERAGE RATING FOR THIS WAS ONLY 2STARS IM DEFINITELY VYBIN WIT IT, ITS CATCHY N CREATIVE N THE BEAT IS HOT....DEFINETELT GONNA BE BIG,
