Is a Southern smash really a Southern smash without a remix full of guest rappers? Of course not! Dallas newcomer Trai’D invites four guest emcees to jump aboard the remix of his debut single, Gutta Chick. Producers Dough Boy, T-Magic, and Joe Blow Da CEO once again provide Trai with a trunk-rattling beat full of fierce synths, mixed and matched with Trai’s rapid rhymes. Hurricane Chris drops by to showcase his own gutta lady, Miami’s self-proclaimed “Baddest Chick,” Trina, flaunts her ghetto credentials as the naughtiest girl in hip-hop, the gravelly-voiced Bun B adds a dollop of sensuality as he admires a lovely lady making her way across the floor, and Florida newcomer Ace Hood hangs tough with his own gutta gal. Trai’d will release his debut album, Trai’dmark, sometime later this year.
To be honest I've never heard of Trai D and I'm not a fan of any of the features except Bun B but this one surprised me a bit. The beat is sick and everyone held down their verse's.
This aint a banger but the beat go hard. The lyrics aint that good, but what you expect...its a song about hoes and this will get some play in the clubs..in rotation
I've never heard of Trai'D either. Well wait, I think I have heard of him, but he just never was nobody worth my attention. I can see why. This deeper voiced Lil Boosie can bounce. NOW, as for Hurricane Chris, I think people can stop mentioning his name in categories with Soulja Boy and Arab anymore. Dude has skills, even if you don't dig his style or subject matter. He definitely has an exciting delivery. I really wasn't digging Trina or Ace Hood too much. Bun B was decent as usual.
LOL @ BDF but u know if i had to guess what girl was on this track, i most def. wouldve figured Trina.. cuz u know "she's the baddest" anyway, the song is just ok. Hurricane disappointed me.
MH, I agree: Hurricane Chris has skills. Just like Boosie, he has the ability to carry a track by himself. That is something that Trai needs to work on himself. This remix did not need Trina, but Bun and Ace both brought plenty of energy. Not bad, in fact... better than the original.
I didn't like the original and I'm not a big fan of the remix. Hurricane and Bun ripped the track. I hope Trai keeps doing his thing, I'm digging the Dallas movement.
WOW wut a total different reponse from tha original! damn, i thought i wuz guna b tha only one who like thiz again LOL! BUT DAMN, THIZ IZ HOTT JUS LIKE THA ORIGINAL...plus betta people on it w/ him.
