Traffik - Hello Goodbye
Producer: D. Rich
Album: The Red Pill Mixtape
Label: MPM/The Academy, LLC
The last time we featured Brooklyn native and Orlando resident Traffik, his Jadakiss, Pitbull, and Gorilla Zoe-assisted Hercules (Remix) ended up peaking at #3 on our Underground Hip-Hop chart. This new record, however, is not by the same Traffik; this Traffik is the flagship artist of the Jacksonville-based Motion Picture Music Group (likely inspired by Young Cash‘s hit street single of the same name), and has recently released a new mixtape/street album, The Red Pill. The single he’s using to promote himself nationally sees him saying Hello Goodbye to all the haters around him with a variety of creative metaphors (“Not a glitch with the alphabet, it’s all G’s,” and “He ain’t got green/ matterfact that n*gga ain’t even got a lawn.” stand out), but the record’s biggest asset is the heavy-banging production from D. Rich. In the end, it’s up to you, the readers, to decide whether this Traffik will garner as much Booth acclaim as the Sunshine State emcee who shares his name.

Traffik has a real Young Jeezy/T.I. swagger about him. Not sure this record will either allow him to say HELLO or GOODBYE to this industry, but with bangin production like this from D. Rich, its more the former.

The other Traffik was the worst rapper alive! I follow the 904 Traffik and he's the next artist to blow. Young Cash??? Can,t rap next to this guy. Have you heard his music?

A much better sounding song then a lot I've heard recently. Sounds like a Young Jeezy w/ a lil bit of yung joc (if you listen closely). Like the beat and this is definitly bumpable. "how you doin... i kno you hate me" haha

I thought this song was pretty cool. This production is a hard hittin street beat for real... It was cool to listen to, but I don't feel that he has really special skills. His flow was OK on the verses, and you can definitely hear his Southern influences loud and clear, as opposed to his Brooklyn influences. The hook was pretty cool, and I could listen to this again...

I Love the hook. The beat was cool, but the artist can rap his ass off! I have never heard of this guy but I think I have found my new favorite artist... Wow and I hate rap. But this guy can spit. Hands Down
