When Z-Ro the Crooked and Trae the Truth (then known for being a part of Houston group, Guerilla Maab) first signed with Rap-A-Lot Records, Southern hip hop fans were ecstatic that the two MCs would reunite to make music together. Two years later, the fans’ wishes are Rap-A-Lot‘s command; on July 15, the cousins, bearing the name of Trae’s ABN click, will release the aptly-titled collabo album, It Is What It Is. On Who’s The Man, Z-Ro and Trae remind listeners once again about their street certification and their brand of rap, which in Ro’s words is, “why I’m never gettin’ on BET.” Set to Big Tyme‘s smooth instrumental (for those taking notes, the sample is of Lil’ KeKe‘s classic Pimp tha Pen), Who’s The Man should no doubt satisfy some starved Southern fans.

This Beat and production GOES HARD! Nice chorus sample! I am really feelin' the overall feel of the track. They got a cool Bone thugs type of flow on here. This is good right here...It is definitely going into rotation!

Always loved how Trae and Z-Ro flow...but the production just ain't something Im diggin..too old school sounding or sumn...Trae and Z-Ro are Houston Legends and they are capable of much better...

I never knew Trae and Z-Ro were cousins! They both have the same kind of flow, but they are still both very different. Trae, Z-Ro, and Lil' Keke are the best (in my opinion) at rapping over a screwed beat.

mann!!! H-town legends finally on the booth with a new hit, this song is a hit just like the others they've had, Z-Ro a.k.a. the king of the ghetto is back even when he said he wasn't makin no more music. I love this song and as usual trae and ro go so hard with the lyrics

It is A-mazing how many "hip-hop fans" have never heard of Trae or Z-Ro. These are Texas LEGENDS; they were making money off their music on the streets before Mike Jones even knew how to spell his FIRST name.
