Trae tells it like it is. He’s too hot, too fly, and you’re not. If his guttural voice is any indication of how intimidating he is in real life, you had better not disagree. His new single, Too Hot, finds him in typical form: gruff, self-involved, and as tied to the hood as ever. Sure, his lyrical content may not be the most original out there, but he has never pretended to be anything more than a street reporter. Producer Track Bangers delivers a booming Southern beat that caters to Trae’s style, resulting in a track that has Houston written all over it. Too Hot will appear on his third studio album, Tha Truth, which is currently set to follow the release of his ABN’s LP drop this Tuesday.
DJ Khaled= the WORST "rapper" in the world (can we even refer to him as a rapper? I guess you can just say vocalist, hype man, etc) He brings fire as a DJ, but he is useless on songs. As for trae, he's pretty tight, he signs a little bit like a mix of Yung Joc and Gorilla Zoe, but he's still pretty good. 2/5 though for Khaled
Damn trae, what size is that fit? lmao Shit man you doin alot with the saggin playa! This is ok, not along the line of the tracks I've heared form ABN! But this is cool I guess, generic but decent.
I'm really having enough of Dj Khaled. The only thing he can do is shout! The production is good, I'm feeling the beat and the music, Trae is ok! BTW this is kinda boring
Sorry just not diggin this one. I would play it if im high as hell and even then i might ask to flip the track. Beat is pretty good, just mmm naw... 2 just cuz of the beat.
Trae is one of the most underrated emcees in Texas. In fact, he is one of the most underrated emceees in the country. If you like what you hear from him on "So Hot," then we suggest Googling his name and checking out his earlier works. Khaled was unneeded on this song, but regardless Trae shines.
Trae has been wrecking shit since his days with Z-RO, and i think he just keeps getting better. his sound is definitely not commercial so i dont know if he'll ever blow up like he should, but ill keep buying all of his cd's thats for sure.
