Do you know what I really love? Mexican food. Yes, I love nothing more than a giant burrito filled with spicy chicken, green peppers, onions, rice, and beans when I’m hungry at dinnertime. People sometimes poke fun at my adoration of fine cuisine from south of the border, jeering me with comments such as “if you love it so much, why don’t you marry it?”. Well, the fact of the matter is that I met a girl that did such wonderful things for me as a good enchilada does for my taste buds, I probably would. I’d probably want to serenade her with a song like Bottom Girl, the latest leak off Topic’s new mixtape with DJ Ill Will and DJ Rockstar, American Hustler 2.0. Backed by producer Mansur’s sultry, reverb-drenched guitar riff, Topic croons about the special girl in his life; R&B foursome Jagged Edge even jump on board for a sweet-as-flan hook. If you love it as much as I love the nachos at Sneaky Dees (a club in my former hometown of Toronto), then be sure to check his forthcoming debut album, If Not Me Then Who, set for release via SRC later this year.

perfect choice for his collab...jagged edge give the song a soulful sultry feel to go against topics flow...the slow moving music has that very west coast feel and goes well

I've never been SUPER thrilled about Mexican food (it gives me really bad heartburn), but this is some laid back ish. Great to hear Jagged Edge rocking the chorus.
Topic has been around the Booth for quite some time; hopefully he will get the chance to push his debut sooner or later. Shouts to ill Will!

It's always good to hear JE again. My fave R&B Group, Topic i've heard some songs of him he's not bad. He needs to step a couple of notches.

Dam now i'm hungry gonna have to get a chile verde burrito with an horchata on the side!!
Anyway back to the song which is actually pretty good!! I'm glad to hear JE again it's been a while!! First time hearing Topic and he does ok but needs to bring something else if he's gonna make it in the hip-hop business!!!! |

Jagged Edge on the chorus is what makes the song 4 me. Mansur did good on the beat . Topic was just okay for me.
