On U Had What You Had, the Nomad, Sweden beatsmith serves up a slow-rolling, bass-driven groove as Long Beach rhymesayer Pr1me (one-half of the Blues Brotherz, with Butch Cassidy) shakes his head at rappers who won’t put in the work necessary to earn respect. Digging it? This laid-back cut is just one of many bangers set to appear on Black’s The Medkit LP, scheduled for release following the arrival of side project The Nine Lives of Tommy Black.
