The 114th entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of Tom Hardy, the North Carolina up-and-comer who won reader approval for Makin’ It Last and We Rap Gr8. On his brand new, previously-unreleased Green Hairnets freestyle, the Academy/It’s a Wonderful World signee flows over original boardwork by The Band Geeks. Tom Hardy recently dropped the Don Cannon-hosted Hardy Boy Mystery Mixtape: Curse of the Green Faceded, featuring appearances by Young Chris, Freeway, Murs, Mikkey Halsted and Harlem’s Cash, and is currently preparing to release the follow up, The Secret of the Green Magic.

There are freestyles and then there are freestyles. You know what I'm talking about? This is the latter.
Mr. Hardy popped up on our radar a few months back and I've been watching him start to buzz very carefully. I dig his cadence and the sarcasm in his flow. Good look.

Nice listen! Tom is witty enough to keep his rhymes interesting, and good enough at his "distinctive" delivery to make you want to hear what he has to say. Rotation fa sho!
