If you aren’t up to TiRon yet, please take this opportunity to listen to No Wonder and then proceed to check out the man’s entire DJBooth catalog. The west coast emcee garnered a solid buzz with his independent release last year, MSTRD- receiving acclaim from XXL, the LA Times, BET, and your neighborhood music head. Now, to kick off 2011, TiRon has teamed up with fellow Cali-resident Ayomari to drop Sucker for Pumps, which will include the new single No Wonder. Produced by DJ Dahi (who previously worked on the aforementioned MSTRD), the track boasts an electro-tinge base with various drum setups. In typical fashion, TiRon spits relatable bars that bounce off the instrumental: “And we aint fin’ to have no babies/ We aint fin’ to have no kids/ Then a month go by/ And a month go by/ And I wanna know why she bigger.” Ayomari does his thing as well though, “Used to buy me sneakers/ Mesmerized her with my mojo/ (Jojo) She be hyped to see me/ Big ‘ol smile on her face”. With both emcees laying down stellar performances, Sucker for Pumps should have fans, both longtime and prospective, excited for what is to come.

The dark, haunting production starts off as the headliner, but by the time both emcees spit it is able to safely move back to the background. Both artists shine at times (when they are actually rapping), but the chorus isn't the strongest.

Haven't heard of these guys before, I like DJ Dahi's job on the prod. Both TiRon & Ayomari spit aight and the hook is fair chilled for the beat.

What was I just saying about all the new talent coming out of the west coast? If anything stands out for me here it's the flows - they ride this beat so damn nice.

nice beat and dope flows from both dudes, lyrics were pretty nice as well. never heard of these guys before but i'll keep an eye open for their new stuff.
