Timbaland - Give It A Go
Artist: Timbaland
Producer: Timbaland
Album: Real Steel (Music From The Motion Picture)
Label: Mosley/Blackground/Interscope
Intrigued by the robot-pummeling premise of Real Steel, but worried the film’s soundtrack won’t be hype enough for your taste? Worry not—Timbaland‘s here to reassure you with new single Give It a Go. Over his own characteristically club-ready synth-string production, the heavyweight producer/artist is joined by previously-unknown pop songstress Veronica Gardner. In addition to catching Real Steel in theaters everywhere, fans can find plenty more bangers where this came from on Real Steel (Music From the Motion Picture), released October 4, via Interscope/Dreamworks.

As quiet as it's kept, I think Timbaland is the best producer alive because he literally changed the way R&B and Hip-hop beats sound and their architecture. Anyway, this is not one of those revolutionary tracks that Timbaland is known for. This is the weakest track I've heard from him in a long time. Not really feeling this one. Maybe after a few drinks in the club it would bang more...

Aside from the intro, the production is solid. It sounds like timbo is back doing what he does best. The lyrics aren't that great, but since this is for a movie you probably have to actually go out and watch it before the song made sense. If this were on SV3 I'd probably be a little upset. I'd give this a 4 overall, mainly for the production.

might sound strange but the structure of the song is just awful. everything got mixed up. right materials at all the wrong places. and plus the lyrics are just plain comedy.
