Talk about a lousy way to start the day. Making its world premiere right here in the Booth, the latest record (and first feature) from Tiffany Dunn begins with the rising pop songstress waking up to a ringing iPhone, which she fumbles, resulting in a cracked screen – and, to add insult to injury, the call is from a girlfriend who spotted her new man at the local nightspot with another chick. Never underestimate the power of a positive attitude, though; rather than feeling sorry for herself, she takes a more positive, philosophical view of her troubles: “At the end of the day, you got the last laugh, but I bet you I’ma be OK!” Backed by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins’ infectiously bouncy beat, driven by electric guitar and 8-bit synths (shades of Ke$ha?), the singer tells that unfaithful fella exactly how she feels, expressing her disappointment in his actions but leaving no doubt that, ultimately, it’s his loss. Time for the obvious question: is this joint merely OK, or is it a certified banger? If you choose the latter, keep your browsers locked you-know-where for more from this talented up-and-comer!

Above, Richard asks our readers "is this joint merely OK, or is it a certified banger?" To answer that question, I'll say its somewhere right between the two. Thanks to Darkchild's work behind the board, the bouncy nature of the song is undeniable. Vocally, though, there isn't much that makes Tiffany stand out from the crowd. Only time will tell, folks.

This is one of like 50 recent tracks where the beat sounds like a very close remix to California Girls, this one aint as bad about it but its still not my flav.

It's OK - I saw/heard Tiffany for the first time in Atlantic City and she had an amazing stage presence. Her songs are definitely fun, but much more so in person - partially because she's gorgeous and even did Jackhammers on the stage outta nowhere.

The beat is pretty dope for a pop song...the rest is average!

Hard for me to rate since I honestly don't listen to this style, but it sounds like a nice little pop record to me. If the current market's any indication Tiffany's got a bright future ahead of her.

The song isn't bad, and I am sure it would get play if the fad wasn't already out there. I like the positive message, the beat is catchy, the hook is as well. Sadly, this style is currently being done. The only thing that is really going to make her stand out is variety in her records. Otherwise, wait for Kesha and 30h3 to fall off.

I think about the overall product and also the fact that it's not hip-hop (so some MIGHT be bias) and overall I say it gets 4 out of 5 stars. Keep'em comin'.

Doesn't sound like a great pop track. Not feeling the beat and the overall song sounds boring.

She shows no apparent vocal talent on this track, and the story she tells in the song is not even worthy of recounting. The production and lyrical content has been done a million times before and there is no fresh angle on it with this.
