Evidently, rapper T.I. is no longer interested in swinging his rag around the clubs. After releasing the Swizz Beatz-produced song several weeks ago, his label, Atlantic Records, has switched gears and had instead chosen to roll with the Jim Jonsin-produced Whatever You Like. On the new single, TIP reminds all of his ladies that their wishes are his command; shots of Patron, brand new jewelry, a ride in his jet – there is nothing this man cannot provide! Despite a lack of lyrical creativity, and a bouncy beat from Jonsin resembling several past T.I. singles, the ATL icon seems to be sitting pretty as far as radio play should be concerned. T.I.‘s new album, Paper Trail, which was originally due in mid-August, is currently scheduled for release on September 30.
Sounds Nice Relaxing I Like It Well Im Lovin It It Wonderful Nice Point To It Sounds Wierd When He Says What Ever You Like Almost Sounds Like Two Different People
He Back Lovin The South Shout-Out To The A Reppin The South Well
not a classic but this will be a hit no doubt...beat is very similar to lollipop in the background and bpm's, figures that jonsin produced it...ideal radio single for album sales!
My personal favorite for a second choice single (based on this, Swing Your Rag, and What Up Man). This is something new and different for Tip and it's really catchy! Crazy beat and smoothed out vocals makes this one a hit!
It is definitely good to see him back! This beat is nice and smooth! He delivers on the lyrics for this too! I am putting this in the MP3 Right now! CERTIFIED DJ BLAZE BANGER!
The only song I've really liked off his new album so far is No Matter What, and that was only a banger for me. This is the best song (in my mind) so far off Paper Trails. I have a feeling that this will be a bigger album than everybody thinks it will be. Good chorus too!
i;m just not feeling this song the way everyone else seems to be. its alright, i see it as a commercial background song or something. maybe it will grow on me...
This track has been in heavy rotation out here in L.A. over the past week. This is a differrent sounding track for TI but is also a good change for him at the same time I'm realy feeling this beat and the way he flows on here too.
Solid club track from TI. I liked What Up more, but this is definitely going to blow up radio in the next few weeks. Looking forward to Paper Trail September 30th! Get TI in the booth for an interview Z!
T.I. is one of my favorite rappers of all time, his flow is just incredible, this song iss crazyyyyy good! I can listen to this over and over and never get tired of it, BANGERR!
4gimmie yall you know I'm a T.I fan. But I HATE this song! That hook is as awful as any I have ever heard. EVER! T.I is still my dude. Just please do not sing! Beat is hot though. Jim is continuing to kill um. I HATE THIS HOOK
I guess this has a good beat and everything but this song is way too cliche. I mean I will get you this and that have everything you want blah blah blah Ive heard that all before. I mean if this is the song that gets on the radio thats fine but this is no where near as good as that What Up song. That track has the best beat I have heard on a song with good hard flow this song is a cliche women song so it gets on the radio. I was hoping that What Up would be a big radio hit but I guess not if this song is what there pushing more. 3.5 stars Again this is a 4 star song but I will rate it a 3 because its to familiar.
I gotta admit this is pretty cliche and aimed at radioplay, but I understand the move. Its pretty much what Wayne did with Lollipop, except the lyrics are better with this. Its pretty typical club banger that works, due to its smoothness and uniqueness compared to T.I.'s previous hits. Its a real chill song that will satisfy the club crowd. I agree with Matthew101 and wish that "What Up" would be the next single, cause that track is banging and has some solid lyricism from T.I.
i luv T.I. but this just sounds like a joke! it's a lollipop rip-off... these rappers need to talk to Mos Def and find out what happens to rappers who try to sing...
BDF44, im not hatin on you but im lovin this hook lol, and Matthew101, i AM however hatin on you.. how is this cliche? I can't think of anything that sounds like this at all.. I'm not gettin how this sounds like Lollipop either!? Am i missin somethin here? this song is a Mood setter 4sure luvhiphop lol
HEARD DIS LIKE 2 WEEKS AGO N BEEN N LUV WIT EVER SINCE!!! dis my sh**!!!!! im not sure how dis sounds like a lollipop rip off either?...hmmm...dis bang hard down here, plus its jus a smooth ass track to play while ridin n da car...
this song is aight at best.. Not hatin' just statin'... It kinda has the same chords as that new lil wayne and game joint. also sounds like they made the beat on a fisher price toy.
I was wondering when this song was gonna be on here... Another great beat from jim. This isnt a typical t.i. song. This will get definite radio play and do great in the clubs.
great song, been bumpin this since I found it on the random hip-hop websites, virtually everyone I play it for lovesss this joint its straight fire. Not a lyrical standout (not meant to be) but still eons above most of the rap/hip-hop that tends to top the charts these days. Not a classic by any means, just a banger, but I'll rate it at 5 stars cuz I loveee this. TIP's CD gonna be fire
I notice a lot of people have mentioned that the song is "old" or has been around for weeks. I feel obligated to apologize for The Booth's lateness to feature this song. We went on a semi-vacation and thus fell behind the 8 Ball. Please know we will remain the go-to website for brand new exclusive music.
I thought I noticed a small vacation, DJZ Anyhow, I've said it before, and I'll say it again -- Paper Trail is going to be insane. After being very dissapointed by T.I. VS T.I.P, I'm very glad to hear T.I. back in shotgun. Everything I have heard thus far from the new LP is hot. CAN'T WAIT TIL IT DROPS! The king has returned.
Listen Kayleb this is cliche. Its designed for radio play. Theres millions of hip hop songs talking to women all the time and this is just another one. But I am a big T.I fan this is just not his best song ok.
this song is aiight im just havin a hard time tellin whether T.I. is singin or rappin slow. either way, i like it, but i fear i wont like it for long.. I like the way he says "yeah" at the end of the hook.
It's a very cheerful song, makes me get in a good mood! I like the beat, unfortunately I can't write the same about T.I.! I like almost all his singles, his music is good but he seems to sing at random sometimes...I believe this song is quite fresh, but I have to get used to it, so it needs more listens! For now it's in rotation
