Aside from a random Rocko collab, T.I.’s new album has been shaping up to be pretty good. Actually, better than good. Last week we heard his Booth approved collaboration with Eminem, All She Wrote, and this time around Kanye West and Kid Cudi assist the King of the South on Welcome to the World. On the beat West and No I.D. set a dark atmosphere with a menacing bass line and unsettling piano loop a la Dr. Dre, but with that staccato placement Mr. Harris customarily spits over. His verse is full of stuttering flows and the cleverly worded threats that we’re used to hearing from him, while Kanye’s hook and verse address the shallow and naïve nature of the biz, and how many rappers fall victims to it. And there’s Cudi, who does his typical tenor chanting thing that I could frankly take or leave. Overall, this is the crack music ‘Ye spoke of on Late Registration, and maybe, just maybe we can get a classic out of Tip with the release of No Mercy on December 7. Hopefully, that will be motivation for him to really get his life together.

Best song I've heard off the new album. In fact, it might be better than anything on Cudi's new album. This song alone will get people to scoop up the new Tip album if they were previously on the fence.

 The minute this came on you could hear that 808's feel to it. Also like "Live Fast, Die Young" which even though it was a Rick Ross song, it felt like a Kanye one. This is the same thing but nonetheless dope. T.I. should of spit another verse but everything else was great. Nice verse from Tip and Ye, a banging beat from Ye and I.D., and cool hook from CuDi.

I love the impact that Kanye has had on rap/hip-hop as a whole these past 3-4 months, it seems that he has had a hand in anything that's hott...
Saying that, you can deffinitly feel Kanye's production here right off the bat, everyone on here was on point, which translates to a dope, dope track. |

Production here is INSANE. Lovin' the piano loop and the distorted snare together. Though KiD CuDi could've been left off, I have no real complaints about the record.

Yes, you definitely tell this is produced by Kanye, but obviously that isn't a bad thing. I've been looking forward for this album for quite a while, and I'm now realizing that it's going to be one of the last good hip-hop albums of the year. Interesting choice for an intro track.

dont know why but T.I doesnt really do anything for me anymore, if i listen to him through no fault of my own before the end of his verse my mind wonders...That being said he smashes this first verse and shows what he is capable of, Kanye kills it but didnt really like cudi on this..NICE

this is the first hype track T.I. has released in toooo long. Songs like this make me depressed he had to get locked up again. He and Kanye both went hard with there verses- and it's nice to see Cudi back where he should be- making sick hooks and bridges. Whoever told him he should be dropping full verses didnt see where he really shines. Great beat too, the tempo is perfect for the MC's on it.

This song is incredible... Tip, Ye, & Cudi together make a track that depict the magic of emotions. They "welcome us to their world," in which we see what it's like to imagine the troubles of their lives. This is def. a strong track to open up T.I.'s album No Mercy. Truly Unique.

i'm really disappointed in this dude! real talk! the album sucks all i like is this song and poppin bottles (with drake) i was anticipating a superb album and this is all he got? come on man you was in jail for a year! plenty of time to write some hot rhymes! very dissapointed! this song aint even good! u know what this sh!* is garbage man the lyricds are weak the hook is annoying and so are the stupid pianos and kid cudi he sound like a monster with a bad stomach ache! pepto bismol!
