In March of 2009, rapper T.I. will learn if his fate includes the entire one year and a day sentence that was handed to him this past March. Until then, however, the self-proclaimed “King” will be plenty busy doing his government mandated 1,000 hours of community service and promoting his next album, Paper Trail. On the first taste of the new album, No Matter What, T.I. goes the inspirational route and raps about overcoming the odds that he faced on this nearly six-minute long song. Produced by Danjahandz, No Matter What is a record with the intention of making it known “that the king lives on.” Paper Trail is tentatively scheduled for release in late summer/early fall.
I loved the production of the track off top. T.I's voice sounds like it did back on Trap Musik. Danjahandz did his thing and T.I showed some great contrast on this track. This doesn't seem like a typical single track someone would drop, which he probably won't. But I think it would make a career statement if he did...

This is fire right here, considering I dont like when he speeds his flow up Im glad that he took his time and slowed this one down to say what he had to say. The beat on this track is monster. He needs to do a remix with Mary J Blidge on the hook or Fantansia(out of the blue right lol) just somebody with a powerful voice.

WOW! This song here is a CLASSIC! T.I. has such a good message in this song in that even though the future isn't looking bright for him, he has learned from his mistakes and still has a positive outlook on life! This song is more than a song- it's a message! aand the production is crazy
Different from his other songs. Where is the atl style beats at T.I.!? The crunk stuff.. But its okay. Something I would listen to every now and then.. It might grow on me.

Wow, this is better than ANYTHING on T.I. vs T.I.P which in my opinion was utter trash. The production on this track is on point. This is what we want to hear more of, TI. Keep putting out @*#$! like this, and you will be back on top before you know it (if you aren't in jail:).

T.I. is my favorite down south rapper, with Luda and z-ro following close behind. Its songs like this that prove hip hop isn't dead. This song has a purpose, the lyrics are on point and it comes from the heart. You gotta respect it.
