Yesterday, T.I.‘s much-anticipated sixth album, Paper Trail, was released in stores and online. Thanks to the emcee’s new outlook on life, as well as the album’s many hit singles, Trail is expected to lock up the #1 spot on Billboard and reach platinum certification before the end of the month. While most of the album leaked ahead of the intended release date, there remains a few select records that didn’t make the final track list. One of these leftovers is Propane, on which T-PainRicco Barrino guest stars. On the record, the two artists share a desire for superstardom— basically, the exact opposite of Tip’s newest single, Live Your Life. Propane can be found on the mixtape The Empire & T.I. Present: I Know You Missed Me, available online now.
This would have fit in the album nicely. I'm in the middle of listening to the album, and this is real tight. I'm disappointed it didn't make the cut. The production is solid and very eclectic (my favorite word). T-Pain comes without the voice box again! Told y'all fools he could sing without that! I liked T.I's quick flow. It reminds me of him on "Stand Up Guy" from the "King" album. I wish that "Empire" vocal tag was gone. That's just annoys me! The subject matter really didn't have a lot of substance, but it would have been a solid radio track. I guess I understand why it didn't make the album cut now after the full listen through of this track. Decent track though. The beat (who's it produced by) is very standout, like the production of "Tell Em I Said That". 3 Stars and rotation.
Tip kills this song, his flow is crazy on this beat. I prefer when he raps fast, I get so caught up. Teddys gettin props from me for pullin the natural voice out, even though it sounds pretty awful. I'm not mad that this track didnt make the album. Rather, I'm burnin up that "Like I Do" with The DREAM didn't make the album!! Someone really screwed up there because that was my favorite out of his new material LOL. I'll stop venting, but overall this is a good song for a mixtape- which is exactly where you will find it.
You thought T.Pain sounded bad? Hmmm...I thought he was decent. I will say that the vocals should have been mixed and equalized sharper. That would have made them sound better.
That shows you how good T.I is right now if this is considered a leftover/throwaway. T-Pain sounds different obviously but it is easier on the ears. Chorus is pretty hot and the beat is solid !! T.I killed it. Like cb126405 said I wanted Like I Do on the album as well cuz that song is one of the most played on my iPod for the last month

T-Pain can sing, too! I had always heard him with the auto-tune and I wouldn't ever imagined he would sound like this with his "pure" voice...well this song is catchy and to me it's a real banger
cb126405 you are right! Like I Do is 1 of the BEST songs and it didn't make the album! my gurl absolutely loves that song! and they decide to release this instead?? I mean it's pretty good, but Like I Do hit the spot. DJ Z, knock some sense in these guys!
ive heard Tpain live be4 without the autotune feature he sounded pretty bad! its quite suprising on this track that hes good. hes probably been practising lol!
i really liked this track, disappointed it didnt make the album.. I'm assuming the slight lack in quality (referring to mixing and equalizers, etc) is because it was chosen to be excluded from the tracklist before they began the finalizing process of the album... regardless I been playing this one in all my playlists, banger 4*
I don't know why he kept this out. I like it, exept for "the empire" coming in every other minute. Annoying. But, this would have been a good song on the album I think.
Hey Patty. Eclectic means "creative" and "fresh". I use it to describe something that's different, out of the ordinary, creative and not cliche. It separates it's style from other things through it's creative approach.

This beat sounds like it was made Outkast. They should have been on this one. I think T-Pain sounds good on this, T.I. kills it as usual. This abstract sound is something to get used to, but it works for me. B.O.B. should be on this too. That would have made this complete
I dont know guyz.. I think this is a sure-fire banger! The uptempo beat is cool! Although I have 2 agree, that definitely dosen't sound linke the T-Pain that we hear onda radio....
2 great artist on the same track! This is cool! I Think T.I. is such a versitile artist, that it dosen't really matter about the production. Just give em a decent beat N he'll kill it!!
Is either T-Pain or not T-Pain sounds better without that voicebox that sometimes he gets on my last nerve... But i agree with everyone else he sounds wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better. Nice song, too bad is not on the label. =/
Maybe it'll grow on me, but I don't like T-Pain without the voicebox. It's a cool song, though. T.I. did good and the beat is party-worthy. I'm not sure what y'all are talking about, though, saying T-Pain can sing.
