Kelly does a song about candy, people say “oh, that’s what he does.” If 50 Cent does a song about candy, people say “didn’t we hear this before?” Last week, we featured Lil’ Wayne’s new single, Lollipop, and everyone and their mother commented on the song’s uniqueness and overall hit factor. Well, a little over a week later, Three 6 Mafia have dropped their very own candy-based song, Lolli, Lolli (Pop That Body) . Contrary to 99% of the “highly respected hip-hop blogs,” the song does not in fact feature T-Pain on the voice box (see what that man has done?), but does feature fellow Hypnotized Mindz artist, Project Pat. So, who makes the better Lollipop?
I don't know if it should be legal for an artist to come out with a song with the same name AT THE SAME TIME as another artist. Anyway...This song is a lot worse than the Lil Wayne counterpart. The beat is OK; but the flow isn't really on-point to me. The track is missing something. Project Pat knows how to flow on their beats the best!
lolli-let me see you pop that body!...i love three 6...they actually produce their own tracks unlike most rappers and they are good at it...i like wayne's lollipop a lot but this one is right up there too...the halloween theme song at the beginning is hot too...HYNOTIZE MINDS!!
i like it, even tho 36's flow isnt as good the beat makes up for it. and Blaze: what the track is missing is Crunchy Black. this is something he'd do good on
oh and this reminds me of when 50 and Flip released I get money at the same time. i still thought Flip had the better version with rick ross or jim jones
The verses are on point, but the chorus is a little annoying. I'd like the beat more if they just used the "Halloween" sample, and not so much of the other stuff.

all these 1/2 star rates are just sad and they are given cause lil wayne released a better song called lollipop at the same time. as for the song, the hook is pretty crap imo. however the beat makes up for it. definitely a club track. agree with tereezy, club track sure, not good music tho.
Just because I'm a big Triple Six fan Imma give it more stars than it deserves. But, Three 6 Mafia is really goin soft, I liked em better when they were more underground, and with all their members of the group. But, Yeah Weezy Lollipop track is much better.
i think the song is a banger for party/club enviornment... 3 6 and project pat on a club song works for me its something new... i like the flows, they can hang with the beat just fine... this song has nothing to do with the lil wayne lolli pop song and isn't as good but it still sounds good... i think we are long overdue for an upbeat 3-6 song as opposed to their usual lower slower beats...

OK, so DJ Blaze gotta kinda agree with you on the song. But, The Last 2 Walk was suppose to come out waaay before Lil Wayne put lollipop out. But then they did Hollyhood the date got pushed back. So Three 6 never stole it. I have to say the song is pretty good not the typical Three 6 Mafia but still is good.
I love this song! Who cares if they copied it from lil Wayne. If you ask me lil Wayne is creepy looking, he looks like a homeless dude, who's on drugs.... oh wait he is on drugs! Ha! Ha!
