Three 6 Mafia - Feel It
Artist: Three 6 Mafia
Featuring: Flo Rida , Sean Kingston
Producer: DJ Frank E and DJ Tiesto
Album: Laws of Power
Label: Hypnotize Minds/Columbia
The new single Feel It from the (shockingly) Oscar award-winning rap group Three Six Mafia is an all-star collaboration of talent. The track is co-produced by DJ Tiesto, arguably the world’s best DJ, and newcomer DJ Frank E (see Chamillionaire’s Good Morning) and features chart topping artists Flo Rida and Sean Kingston. The beat starts off hard and fast, and the techno sound never lets up, allowing all three artists to sound energetic and comfortable on top of the fist-pumping production work. Both beatsmiths make the bass bang loud at all the right times, knowing when to sit back and just let the beat detonate. The song also has a catchy chorus line from Kingston, which helps keep the track balanced against Three Six and Flo Rida’s dirty rhymes. The best part of Feel It? When the beat builds up slowly and then explodes in the last minute. It’s not exactly what fans of the Memphis veterans have come to expect, but new-found success sometimes breeds change. Feel It is off Three Six’ upcoming album Laws of Power, due out in January of 2010.

This was tight but I bet it sounds crazy on some huge speakers (club, car... you name it). But it didn't really blow me away on my computer speakers (again, that's not what it's meant for). I'll throw it in rotation.

This is going to EXPLODE in clubs. I can see this playing in raves across the world. Three 6 just got a huge record sales boost after this one. I'm about to faint. FIRE.

Love the rave (house) beat from Tiesto. The hook from Kingston was good, while the 'King Of The Clubs' Flo Rida brought the flow to match the beat. Two great choices to feature on this track.

I really don't like this, at all, Idk if we are hearing the same track? This is horrible, the beat is so random and hard to grasp. I just do not like it.

Not my cup of tea, but I'd be shocked if this doesn't do big things in the club scene. Tiesto is highly respected by his peers and for that reason alone it'll get burn.
I wonder how all those die hard fans feel about yet another club single... |

Just thought I should comment to Three 6's original fan base. Want to hear the gritty stuff? Check out the new Tech N9ne song, "Demons" from K.O.D. Three 6 is featured at calling it a return to form is an understatement. Here's a link to the song on youtube if you're interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHmf9VxbY18
Either way, Three 6 was never making half as much money as they are now when they were catering to their fan base. I can definitely understand the change of style. This works. On a side note, Nathan, where was a K.O.D. review last week? Absolutely crazy album and I was looking forward to your take; easily tops the already excellent Sickology 101. |

been waiting on this one for months since i heard about it! WOAH! club banger of the year! the hottest club record of 2009. tiesto's shows are nuts, so i can't even imagine what this record is gonna do in the clubs. add in radio friendly flo rida and kingston...they only give it more potential to be a gigantic hit!

I don't think this sounds like anything special, but I could see myself and many others gettin into it on some big club speakers. The flows are not interesting enough to keep anyone interested for the length of the track, so the only place I would like this is dancin at a club.

Man, I'm torn. I'm not usually a fan of the techno/rave style, and for some reason Flo-Rida's verse on this sound terrible to me, but I can't deny the energy, and Three Six come with it. I'll have split the difference and give it 3 stars: now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go listen to "Sippin on Some Syrup"

I'm a little sad that I dont like this. Maybe it will grow on me, but at the moment it actually bores me. Not really what club music is supposed to do.

I agree with Phantom when the track with Tech N9ne is soooo much better, and you can actually see how nice Juicy J is on the mic, not this techno music...I know it will bang in the club though and all the drunk white girls will love it! lol

I'm with Juanito and $arah. The repeating background sound isn't nearly interesting and plays a major role on this song. That's it, any voice was unnecessary as they didn't add a thing to the quality of the song. And what it offers doesn't move me at all.

Damn!!! This is all-out Techno. Not a fan of techno sound, I found no sense of musicality in it, they just make the beat go bang with no proper direction and this track is exactly just that. Those typical farting synths make it too noisy on ears and easily overshadows the contributions of whoever is on the track. 1.5
I never minded "Lolli Lolli" and even "Shake My" but this is going too far with it. |

I used to be a big fan of Three 6, back when they were underground and putting out legit bangers. Now they've sold out and do all this club/techno music and it's just not the same. They need to go back to what worked(for me) to get me back on board.

Not really likin this. It'll be a crazy club song, but I dont think anybody's flow really matches the beat. Beat is ok, but gets old after a while. Never thought I'd see a collabo like this, I prefer Three6's older, more raw stuff. I'll give it a 2.5

Wow, rapping over a techno Euro-beat. I dig!
Not feeling Flo Rida though. He gets drowned out (can't hear him sometimes), and it doesn't fit his rapping style... As a matter of fact, I can't hear anything from the electro-techno house beat. Didn't know why Tiesto is credited as a guest featured artist. Didn't hear him rap or sing... This is AMAZING for dance clubs though. One star off cuz I couldn't hear vocals. |
