Breaking a nearly four-year absence from our pages (his first and, to date, sole Booth feature, The Way She Feel, hit our front page back in May ‘08), Thrasher makes his triumphant return with Take Me Away, the current single off his most recent street release. On Take Me Away, MDot4Mayor and Benny Cassette‘s Red Hot Chili Peppers-sampled production bangs in the back as the West Coast repper pays tribute to a girl by the name of Mary Jane. I don't really like this beat much, but I thought Thrasher's flow was pretty entertaining throughout. Still not enough to add to my list of play-backs.

When Trasher sent me this one, I really liked how he flipped the sample to make it a Hip hop sound. His flow is pretty good on here too.
