With a voice similar to Lupe Fiasco and a flow that mimics Kanye West, Rhode Island born emcee Theo has caught our attention. After years of DJing in his hometown of Providence, Theo has stepped up to the mic and the boards to record and produce his new album, The Birth. On his new single, Sweetest Language, he pays tribute to the greats of hip-hop over a beat from guest producer Profit that mirrors Fiasco’s The Coolest. While giving credit to artists like Q-Tip, Common and even Euro house legends Daft Punk for influencing his sound, Theo displays praiseworthy wordplay and supreme confidence on the mic. This dude is fresh! I can really hear the Lupe in him. I don't know if that will hurt him or help him in the game. But as for now, he's dope. These are the type of cats I rap like and like to rock in the IPOD. I'll be looking for more him. This song is phresh!

I like this sample! mariah used it well on stay the night! This dude is nice! I'd liketo hear more from the kid! Good introduction to my eardrums. I see a new bread of artist hittiin the streets. The Mc that can sing(without the voice box). Joel Ortiz, Drake, Gemstones... I dig that!

Yeah BDF44. SPEAKING OF DRAKE, I wish the Booth would feature some of his stuff. I think he's super close to being signed to Young Money. He's been touring with Lil Wayne and a few days ago, a remix to Drake's breakout R&B single "Brand New" surfaced with a Weezy accompaniment. The means Weezy and Drizzy! I sent it to DJZ, and then poof...he goes out of town. LOL

i couldnt find the song i looked at youtube and here for more songs by him and nada just an opening for the lox earlier this year...but with a few spins im feeling this guy...lotsa good talent out there but the industry is holding dem down...
