Hope you’ve all got your Sunday best laid out on the bed, because The Pro Letarians are taking us to Church. Fresh off threatening to blow up the game (and collect their 33 Vergions) on their late-January Booth debut, the Bloomington, Indiana duo conduct a full-on hip-hop tent revival on the newly-released follow-up single. JO comes correct on the production serving up a dense, bluesy beat reminiscent of Twisted Fantasy-era Kanye, and emcee Jupiter Jim channels a little of that “angry Yeezy” flow to match. Nonetheless, he attacks the mic with a swagger all his own, talking up his future in the game and bombarding the competition with pithy trash-talk: “I know you hate when it’s time for the offering—you ain’t got nothing to offer.” Does this braggadocious banger have you on your knees, praising the Lord?  Richard mentioned Kanye a few times in his blurb above and that is actually the first artist that came to mind when I pressed play earlier today. I have not used the word in a while, but what better way to describe this vibe than full of swagger. Something music be in the midwest water supply.

I would have to agree that Jupiter Jim reminds me of Kanye. This song just further illustrates how much potential The Pro Letarians have. Hello Forever is going to be huge.

This song is different from most of their others and carries a great vibe and groove through the whole song. Jupiter continues to push out crazy lyrics and metaphors. Very good and unique.

The Pro Letarians did great work on the beat and good work on the Mic. I like this...Definitely sounds like a Chi-town "kanye-like" delivery and production which is never a bad thing.
