Tnut, Brophy, Chris and Rafe may go by the name “The Pricks,” but you know, I think they’re being a little hard on themselves; on new EP single Wake Up the Long Beach hip-hop/punk crew sound more like a couple decent dudes trying to make their way in a crazy world filled with hardship and temptation. Wherever the truth may lie, though, this joint is sure to strike a chord with fans of cathartic, genre-blending tunes. If that sounds like you, plenty more awaits on the crew’s Message of Hope freEP, scheduled to drop August 18.

Though this is only the second time I've heard them, I like this group. They are The Pricks, and they aren't trying to be anyone else. And let's just say that The Pricks are pretty damn good.

As soon as i started to listen to the backround beat I new this song would grab my attention! The lyrics are real... The Pricks sing about life, challenges, a lifestyle... They are real people just trying to maintain! P4L! Get to know them cause they going places!
