After thirteen years in the industry, 2Pac’s old crew, The Outlawz, are ready to kick off a new era with Young Buck’s Cashville Records. Gearing up to release a brand new street album, the group wants to make one thing very clear: We Want In. For the album’s title track, emcees Kastro, Young Noble, E.D.I. Mean, and Stormey plainly state their goal, citing every major hip-hop label/imprint (except for G-Unit, obviously) whose money and success they’re after. Complete with a trunk-banging beat courtesy of K-Salaam & Beatnick, We Want In should be perfect for OGs and young hustlers alike to bump in their whips. The We Want In LP is currently set to drop on August 5.
K-saleem and beatnick are officially on my radar. 2 tracks tonight with good production? Nice. OUTLAWS!!!!!!!!!!! Forever rest PAC! This is a good track 4 the men. I'm diggin. They need in. Ya'll snatch they MOB phrase and swagger of they leader and don't wanna show love?
People will always over look the Outlawz with out 2pac. But this song is tight. The beat is real good and I'm feeling this song. I'll have my eye out for them now.
This is not my type of hip hop but this song is super! The background music is hot and so is the beat. Their flow is everything but boring! Pity that it isn't so catchy (there are no melodies I can remember, that's why this isn't my kind of hip hop)! It's a banger, I'm sure most of you will appreciate this better than me (I'm judging the quality of the work and not rating with my personal tastes this time).
Song is great...K-Salaam and Beatnick are really becoming one of my favorite producers. They've worked with some great artists and they are so versatile.
They never got ANY respect in the 90's when they spit on some of Pac's BEST songs. All I used to hear was... "why'd Pac let them go off on two verses???" These guys have talent, real talent. Which is why they are not gone after a long absence from mainstream music.
This joint is nice. You can tell what they are going for when the hooks drops. The want in. Been in it for so long with nuthin to show for it. Get that paper my people.
Sorry Z, i'm an Outlawz hater too. Their rhymes aren't the problem, it's their lack of musicality and the extra-roughness in their voices. Especially next 2 Pac, these guys sound even worse, and make Pac sound even better. While Pac would flow WITH the music, these guys sound like they're strugglin to keep up wit the beat. It's like a fine German import beer versus Natty Lite.
The outlaws are back!!! The return of one of the best groups out west. Pac would be proud. The beat is hot. They are all on point on here. Sounds like Buck knew what he was doing when he signed them
Man I been fucking with the Outlawz since Pac...they held there own right next to Pac..and its a shame they never got the recognition they deserve...this is solid and hopefully they can continue to drop some solid shit with this Cashville situation..
Even though I am Late as hell here...I just have to comment on my local North NJ natives hot track! This is Sick! The Outlawz do have real talent Z; but I am like everyone else and think they just couldn't do it without Pac...Just like Junior Mafia couldn't do it without BIG. Only time will tell; but this is HOT! I still listen to the classic Makaveli tracks at least once a month; they are like a dose of Realness to this often fake rap game! BANGER!
