Is expletive-filled rap on its way out? Probably not, but with everyone from reader-acclaimed up-and-comers Young Son and Bullet to big names like Chamillionaire and the legendary Rakim electing to keep their bars cuss-free, somebody has to pick up the slack. Enter Rah Almillo and Krispy Kream of The Knux, who are back in the Booth with an f-bomb-packed track titled F*ck You. If you consider excessive cursing a dealbreaker, this most likely isn’t going to be your jam, but those willing to listen a little closer will find that there’s more here than meets the ear. In addition to delivering an unconventionally catchy beat driven by reversed guitar(?) riffs and gritty percussion, the twosome spit verses as packed with agile, thought-provoking lyricism as they are with profanity. This track will undoubtedly get repeat spins from listeners on The Knux’ wavelength—and I think it’s safe to assume Almillo and Kream don’t give a… damn about the rest. Fans can catch the Knux at Lollapalooza this weekend; keep it locked to the Booth for all the latest on their forthcoming sophomore LP!

Unique production, richard said it best in the blurb. Didn't really like the title of the song or the wordplay, but the beat kept me listening and worthy of keeping around.

The production work, in my opinion, is far more impressive than the lyrical work on the mic. Not that I don't love songs that have the work "F*CK" in their title... but it just gets a little annoying after awhile.
With that said, these are two talented individuals and hopefully more people will check for them on their next LP.

This track didn't really stand out to me at all. I like a little more substance in the lyrics than a bunch of F-words. I mean I love a bunch of cussing (Lil' Jon anyone??) when I'm gettin pumped for a game, but this doesnt have that appeal either. So I'm not really feeling it.

The Knux/(es)/(i)/(plural singular) made a great beat here. However, I agree that this one could be improved with some lyrical tweaking.

no no no no nooooo...this might sound strange but where's all the mainstream tracks that have come out lately. i'm not dissing out of ignorance, cause this sounds like a track moby would throw away. i guess i do have a problem with "the knux" so f%^& me (as the song goes). but how bout the young problemz mike jones record, new hurricane chris/mario joint, loso's way tracks, fat joe pleasure p...am i crazy or is djbooth goin all indie hip hop on me lately?

It all flows nicely enough, although the continual fcuk you shout-outs become grating after a while ... but I guess they just havin fun!

This is how you ruin a good beat. This sounds like a beat Pac in the 2pacalypse days woulda spoke truth too, or the old outkast would knock out. This is disapointing.
