When The Knux‘ debut single, Cappuccino, premiered on DJBooth, many readers were impressed with the usage of coffee as an analogy for women. Apparently, the cappucino’s caffeine has stimulated the duo’s minds, beacuse they’ve concocted an old-fashioned remix (not the typical, keep old beat and verses/ insert guest rapper here type). So, have Rah Almillio and Krispy Kream mastered the formula of creating hip-hop music that old and young fans will both enjoy? Find out later this year when their debut album, Remind Me In 3 Days, hits stores and online retailers.
The beat on here sounds like something from 1996 and so is their flow actually. I am not feeling this at all. I don't like the sound of the track or the meaning behind the words. I would never listen to it again.
I guess you guys don't listen to underground alternative hip-hop. This remix may not climb the charts or make the dance floor get crunk, but it has a lot of sense to it.
This is OK. I'm the first one to say that we should dig and respect old school classic style hip hop. But some people seem to think that means everything that sounds vintage we should be like "THAT'S THAT DEAL". This song was coo though. I'll throw it in rotation. WOW, you're funny. I think DIS song is OK...lol
this is fkin tight .... remix that just blows your fkin head off .... beat suppa crazy and has so many flavors of pure oldskool with that new twist ..... new musik fo sho.... 4 *Banga
Here the subject is cappuccino. For the first time I feel they are talking about something which belongs to my country...lol! I find this a good track, above all the beat. It's in rotation I guess
hahaha, i would expect nothing less from a bunch off jeezy jockin' fake thug appreciatin' morons. y'all can keep your syncopated hi hats and lies about coke and guns. if you don't feel this song, you're not a hip hop head. end of story.
song is cool and fresh i give a 5 as in classic for those who dont like this song listen to the rhythms and beat and the rhyme if not listen to it about 10 times at the least
The guitar background is so appealing throughout the song it makes it so easy to like! The production is really chill and never gets old! And I heard they produce their own songs, is that right? Their flows are dynamic and match the beat perfectly, their lyrics are creative and the “singing” (dararadaaa) on the chorus sets a nice relaxed mood to the song. I liked the original but this remix (a real remix!) is better, I find myself playing it repeatedly. I’m hoping to hear Andre 3000 joining them for a remix!
