It may seem unusual to hear chronically blunted spitter The Kid Daytona dedicating a record to the Man Upstairs, but there’s no denying it—lead EP single God Is Good is pretty damn fresh. Over Statik Selektah‘s sunny, sampled production, the freestyle series alum praises the Lord for all the dope things in his life. Complete with an effervescent hook by Goapele, this upbeat jam is one of many fresh cuts set for inclusion on The Interlude 2, dropping at the top of next year.

Damn! Statik Selektah is ALL OVER THE BOOTH! Nice production work on this beat by SS! I'm definitely feelin the beat. The Kid Daytona sounds good on this track too. This is a good track that I wouldn't mind giving a few spins.
