Last week, Geffen released Camera Phone as the fourth single off of The Game’s latest album, LAX. Though the record was only good enough to make the project as a ‘Deluxe Edition’ bonus track, label executives figured that, with its Ne-Yo-assisted hook and Cool & Dre production the song could catch on and lead to some more moolah. If they had asked DJBooth, however, which single Game should release next, we would have suggested the unreleased Red Magic. Straight off the cutting room floor, a tagged-up version of the track first appeared on Lil Wayne’s recently-released Drought 6 mixtape, with the featured studio version to follow. Also produced by the Miami natives, Red Magic was undoubtedly left behind after the fearsome foursome of The Game, Weezy and Cool & Dre concocted the hit single, My Life.

Thanx for posting this song because I requested it a few days ago. Although this is on a mixtape it seems like CDQ material because it is so smooth. The production is off the chain on this and its not a regular Game beat because its sort of a radio-friendly beat. Cool&Dre;big props because they are always hit makers. Wayne goes hard on this as well and though the song keeps using red and barely rhymes the combo of Wayne and autotune makes it dope! This song is greatly elevated by Weezy's appearance. Dope lyrics, dope beat. I love the 2pac sample too. When I'm in L.A. im Gasolin, but when I'm in New Orleans you can call it Chris Paulin. This is top 3 of 2008 on my list!! Straight classic!!

What!!!? Why was this kept off of LAX. I guess I can see that it doesn't sound like it belongs with the rest of the album, but man, this is a great song. Is it just me, or is The Game on the auto tune, I can't tell. But wow, this makes me want to buy the Special Edition.

Damn the last track that they did together (My Life) was such a hot track and they still playing it on my radio station (KUBE93 Seattle/Tacoma). But this, this I don't understand why y'all are all so blown away with it. It's okay but it will never make it to the radio stations. Beat-ok, The Game- ok, and Wanye- can do better. All in all though- it's ok.

This song is pretty bangin, but i had this a monthn ago. The version I have got 2 Weezy verses not 1. This is a pretty solid track, I don't understand why it didnt get on LAX but thats the way it goes. Sometimes labels leave strong tracks off the album just to get that extra push in sales.

I can understand why Game wouldn't put this on the album, doesn't really fit in. Still dope, just like "Roc Boys". The girl at the end really completes the song. "They Glow in the Dark on Kanye's stage shit/Then we hijackin' Kanye's spaceship/Then put it on the red carpet at the VMA's, @*#$!" Haha. Game killed his verses, not that Lil Wayne did bad at all.

My Life was great, but it got repetitive as HELL.. now this song is FIREE, i cant STAND The Game, but he's starting to grow on me a lil, this is by far the best song by Game and Wayne yet.. Why didnt they put this on the LAX album? its a great look for game and wayne(even though wayne is fading away from my ears). Although "My Life" was definitely a hit it was more of a think/reminisce track. As for this track, I couldnt help but bopping my head. The energy brought by Game, Wayne, and Cool n Dre on the beat were on a whole new level!
