Set to release his highly-anticipated new album, L.A.X., on Aug 26, the West Coast giant has unveiled his follow-up single to Game’s Pain. Entitled Dope Boys, this soon-to-be-club approved and most definitely street-certified banger features Travis Barker of Blink 182 and production from up-n-coming Cali team, 1500 or Nothin’. According to LA Times reporter Chris Lee, Dope Boys was well-received at The Game’s Monday listening session in Santa Monica, California, explaining that the song “had radio programming and hardened gangbangers alike throwing their hands in the air.” Uniting the hood and the burbs one song at a time; The Game is back and better than ever.

Well okay heres how I looked at it. Lyrics are tight along with the flow. Hook is average. But the beat is average/nothing special. Can't wait for LAX to drop

nice beat, pretty repetitive, but i still like this. Production is tight as hell on this one, good job by travis barker as well.

I don't like the beat on this song, and I also think that after a while it gets a bit repetitive...to me it's in rotation, not that I'm crazy about it, I only think people will like it (and the song average shows what I've just written).

Not feelin the hook or the beat. The lyrics are pretty good but they don't make this song worth listening to. I haven't liked much of Game's ish lately, the only song I thought was hot was Big Dreams, and that got old on me fast. This isn't garbage but it ain't that hot either.

I've been interested in The Game for over a year, but I just never really got to liking his stuff.
Now most of the time it takes a few listens before I can honestly tell whether or not I'm liking a song, so after listening to this the first time, I'll try and listen to it again in a day or two again, because this is pretty nice.

mannn! man this here is a car banger, club banger, home banger, and a street banger. I had to listen to this about three times to really get a feel, but yea i got it n the game got it he's fire right now and everything i hear from him is hot.
I hav a good feelin that L.A.X will be in the classic album category when its all said and done, this song is good and is definitely a banger, though i still think Big Dreams is the best song he has released in the last couple of years and should be on the album, a man can hope right...
after doctors advocate i had so much respect for the game, after listening to his recent tracks as well, the game is without a doubt in my top 3 emcees of all time now!! great tune btw!!
