The title of “hook singer” has become synonymous with several artists over the last few years, most notably (but certainly not limited to) Akon, T-Pain, Trey Songz and Sean Kingston. Having mastered the “featured guest verse” title through of all of 2007 and now more than half of 2008, it seems as though Lil’ Wayne might be once again expanding his resume. On the newest release off The Game‘s forthcoming album, L.A,X., My Life, Wayne provides a sung chorus (a la Duffle Bag Boyz) with the help of that mischievous (and quite popular) voice box. Over soundtrack-worthy production courtesy of Cool & Dre, both artists sound at home and compliment one another nicely. After countless delays, the release of L.A.X. is currently pegged to occur at the end of August.

This song is the @*#$!! Game continues to make a name for himself at the top of the best MC's list, everything he is touching right now is FIRE! Wayne's chorus is simply amazing and the song is perfected from start to finish. This is a no-brainer classic and my personal favorite song I've ever heard from Game!! LAX cannot come soon enough.
This song is tight. Lil' Wayne has a sweet hook and the Game drops two great verses. Production is pretty good, too. The Game is one of the best rappers out there, and I can't wait for his album to drop.

Seeing as Lil Wayne is on every song these days, I thought that this would be nothing new. When I first got to the site I saw this song and the rating it had, which is rare for a song on Dj Booth. Had to check it out. Even though it sounds like something off of Nas' album, this is really good. Made me notice The Game...thats for sure.
So far every joint off this LAX album has been dope that I have heard and this one is no different banger from start to finish. Cool @ Dre produce another dope beat,Wayne kills the hook and Game spits hard on the verse's.
CLASSIC! Would have loved to hear Weezy drop a verse, but Game delivers. Goes to show that Wayne is one of the most versitle artists in the industry right now. 5/5
L.A.X. = CLAASIC. But I hope everybody actually goes to the store to go buy Games album. So far every track I've heard off L.A.X. is dope. I can't wait untill August 26.
i think this song is good but to me it seems like l.a.x. is gonna be game's weakest album...his songs are mediocre compared to his first two albums...weezy def needs to let go of the autotune!
I am glad to see the last 7 or so tracks we posted have gotten high ratings! We wanted to come back from our "vacation" with a bang and it looks like we succeeded. This is my favorite track of the week so far.
Of course this track gonna get high ratings because it has Game and Weezy. But I heard this a few days ago and I've listened to it 4-5 times and it's actually a pretty boring track. If Wanye keeps using the vocoder so often, he is going to start needing it, rather than having it as an option. Plus, The Game is dissin lots of people for no reason. He says something that sounds a lot like a diss about Eminem, and makes some other comments about Kanye. Those are two guys you probably don't want to make mad. Regardless of the disses, the hook gets old quick, and The Game's voice gets boring. This song is OK, and I think lots of people will notice how quickly it gets old.
Herd this track and its dope.. Game came nice on this and weezy smashed the laid-back typa hook. Game didnt diss eminem; he was close friends with proof, who got killed, therefore he aint comin to 8 mile anymo. He said the thang bout burnin him n eminem pics cause that's his way of sayin they relationship ova.. Might be taken heavy by some people, hopefully not em. lol
This is a good song, slighty similiar style like doctors advocate and like father like son. The game could have made this song himself without lil wayne featured but it certainly doesnt hurt the track! 4.5!
SMARTEN UP PEOPLE! NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE A DISS!!! Did you listen to what he said? EVERYTHING HE SAID FOR KANYE WAS POSITIVE (he said his mom was proud, mentioned the Jesus Walks song, and a few more, and you should know Kanye's produced tracks for all of his albums, including this upcoming one), and HE EVEN SENT OUT A STATEMENT saying he wasn't dissing Eminem, and it was about Proof's death. Honestly.... It pisses me off when people start being fags and running around saying _____ dissed ______. Honestly... ANyways, this song is amazing, Game keeps it down to earth on a nice marcher's-esque beat, with a nice hook from Wayne.

Heh, everyone need's to get off of Lil Wayne's dick. Seriously, HE VOICEBOXED A CHORUS, HE DIDNT EVEN HAVE A VERSE. People are like "OH MAN WAYBE KILLED IT!" .. bleh. What about the solid production by Cool & Dre.. oh, and did we forget -- Game? Yes, Wayne was a nice touch to this track, but the real meat of this track is the production and the rap -- not the voiceboxed chorus.

The Game is like the best rapper alive man. This is real. He makes real tracks man....real records. Every track I've ever heard from this man is so sick! I can't wait for the album. THIS IS THE BEST SONG EVER! I know I can say that about lots of songs, but this is just so great! I can't wait for this album. I thought before that since Ye or Lupe wasn't dropping an album that there would be no good albums coming out this year, but first Nas, then Skillz, and now THE GAME! I can't wait!

This is not my type of song, it would never go to my mp3 player...but I must say it's a classic! It seems a song by Eminem, he used to make such songs...I think I'll look for the lyrics, I wanna understand what he says. Finally a good song by The Game! The problem here is, as always, Lil Wayne. That horrible voicebox he uses it's way worse than that used by T-Pain...it's unlistenable! I can't choose between Wayne's real voice and computerized one...they are both awful to me
