In 2008, Los Angeles Clippers star player Baron Davis and skateboarder-turned-director Stacy Peralta teamed up to release Crips and Bloods: Made In America, a documentary addressing gang activity in South Central Los Angeles. Now, Don Cannon and DJ Skee have been inspired by the film to create a new mixtape featuring the same region’s hottest hip-hop talents. On the newly-released Bang Along, The Game tells of his experiences as a young Compton Blood, describing not only the shootouts but also the summer nights spent picking up ladies, shooting hoops, and even buying ice cream sandwiches when the truck pulls up to the corner. Game’s heartfelt story receives a pitch-perfect instrumental accompaniment courtesy of Kanye West, who samples a line from Curtis Mayfield’s People Get Ready (the record’s title is actually a creative mishearing of “Thank the Lord”). If you like what you hear, stay on the lookout for Game’s fourth LP (yes, he has changed his mind about retiring), tentatively titled The R.E.D. Album.

It surprised me when I first heard "Dreams" that the Game's vocals would be a perfect fit over a Kanye beat. No surprise anymore, it works. The production is hott, typical/classic Yeezy board work. The hook is good enough, and wit the verses the Game displays some great storytelling. It's great to hear the The Game is comin back for another one!

Ya' know... There's a reason why The Game is one of my favorite top 5 rapper's and this is proof as to why! As for the production part I feel that Kanye (who is also in my top 5 ;P) could have done better cause this is surely not his best this sounds too Ice Cream truck-like... But don't get me wrong the production is still hot... just not at its best. Three star track! I'm really looking forward to his next album, and I coulda told you that he wasn't gonna retire LOL!

The Red Album (The Game's rumored 4th Album), is the album I most want to hear in the next 2 years (yes, even more then Detox, Relapse, Till The Casket Drops etc). Ever since LAX dropped, The Game has been killing every track i've heard from him.
Kanye's production was good, but it wasnt the highlight here. |

I heard this the other day and I was astounded. It was like Classic Game had returned. This made me go back and listen to "The Documentary". Back with Kanye West boy! That's wassup. I think Ye has had the best production other than Dre behind The Game. Definitely more a single than a mixtape joint. If you choose not to retire after you said you would, THIS is the type of track you drop to give people hope that this new album might actually be new and exciting (TAKE NOTES JAY-Z!)

@bowwsser - Clipse's third album is set to be "Til the casket drops". I'm sorry but I thought L.A.X. was mostly crap so this is more than a welcome change to me. If a cut of this or a remix makes it on the next album this might be a classic but it needs a tad bit more flavor.

Ok, now i'm not a hater, and nothing, but this is not the best game, i mean the production, feel, and the lyrics are nice, but look at his rhyme scheme, he rhymes the word with the same word, sometimes he doesn't even rhyme. I know that game can come real hard if wants to(just check some of his mixtape tracks). To everybody R.E.D. Album stands for Reeducation, he also said that the title wasn't influenced by either Black Album or Him being a blood.
