The Finest - Whatcha Lookin At ft. Max B. & Wiz Khalifa
Artist: The Finest
Featuring: Max B , Wiz Khalifa
Producer: Johnny Juliano
Album: 4 Seasons (V1: The Introduction) / The Finest Revealed
Label: Steel Sound Records
Last month, the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII, setting a league record with their sixth big game win. Determined to drop a similar “Steel Curtain” over the hip-hop game, JC and F. Baby of The Finest are preparing to make a strong push with their debut single. Along with an Autotuned hook and swagger-filled verses by the duo (I know both ‘swagger’ and Autotune are overused, but they fit here), the record boasts guest appearances by Harlem’s Max B. and fellow Pittsburgh superstar Wiz Khalifa (every feature he’s done has charted on the Booth) and production by Johnny Juliano. Can’t wait to bump Whatcha Lookin’ At in the whip? You’re in luck—though their debut album, The Finest Revealed, has no set release date, their 4 Seasons (V1: The Introduction) mixtape with Big Mike, DJ Skeeta (Legion of Doom) and DJ Nyce One (DTP) drops today.

Finally we have another Max B track on the Booth. I'm gonna have to holla at Z to make sure we put up the CORRECT Max B joints...I got you Silver Surfers out there, owwww!
But back to the track; the beat is bouncy enough for the club and good enough to bounce your head a bit. I'm not really feeling The Finest, but Max B flows nicely on here. His flow is CRAZY! (please look him up on youtube if you don't know) The rest of the song is a miss, so this is unfortunately just a rotation joint for me. |

Look who decided to make his presence felt once again at the Booth... cough cough, Blaze.
Juliano is one hell of a producer - he stole the show here. I'd like to hear more from The Finest. ** Anyone interested in our new member labels, check out the ABOUT US section** |

the beggining of this track just aint workin, and i really aint feelin dude, the hook is wack you cant come with the same sound everyone else been comin with. max b and wiz outdid the original artist, and thats not a good look, i wouldnt be surprised if this is the main reason this track gets played, it sounds like a track that either just max or just wiz should be on, not a collab

What a beat! I'm feelin' this one. The rappin sort of let it down... Then the beat got repetitive. 3.5

Great beat. Very fresh. Flow was sick all the way around. Great for the club or the car. One of those universally sick songs you can listen to anywhere.

As corny and played out as this song topic is, I have to say that I liked the vibe on this track. The production was real tight, I like the quirkiness of it. The hook works well for the song, and is catchy. The flow on the verses are droning and kinda "been there, done that" but what more do you expect from a song like this? Nice to throw in the whip and ride to...
