On the first buzz single from his upcoming sophomore album, Love vs. Money, The-Dream spotted a seemingly fine female in the club, but let her know that he had to See The Booty before coming to a decision. His potential follow-up finds him in the exact same situation with yet another woman – the only difference, of course, is that he’s smitten right away. So, what makes her a keeper? The way that she’s Rockin’ That Thang. Produced (as usual) by C. Tricky Stewart, Rockin’ That Thang sticks to The-Dream’s usual script, which should be enough to make Love vs. Money a hit when it drops in the first quarter of ‘09.

Whew! I was a little worried when that Booty joint dropped, I couldn't get with that at all. But yeah, this one gets right back to formula! I love the way this one flows, and the production is fun and catchy. The lyrics are cool too, definitely a party record. Chorus is fire, this one's got every element for hit record status. Banger!

This is definintly apart of dream's formula. I hate to say it but Kanye has set the bar pretty high for me at this point. I can respect producers wanting to keep signature sounds in their music, but at the same time I would like to see alil more diversity in their sound. This is a good song, aside from the fact that this is the same drum rift that he has used about 12 times b4.

This is WAY better then 'See That Booty'! Now THIS is The Dream! Im hyped for Love vs. Money because i really enjoyed his last album... I become a fan after that! Hahaha i had to look twice at the pic... He is wearing a Orlando Pirates jacket.. Im from South Africa... that is a South African football/soccer club... am i the only one who finds that random!? Haha anyways, nice track!

I’ve said this a ton of times before: if there’s a sound repeating throughout the song, it better be good. Well, that of the chorus is mad catchy and made the song the second it came in! I respect The-Dream despite seeing him as a hit or miss, cuz the kind of music he does when he does it right is just beautiful, with a good vibe like this one!
I see that formula repeating but why would Coca Cola ever change for you to keep lovin it? Besides, the formula is more in the production and singing style, but melodically speaking, this is fresh! I mean, you would like this melody on any other, let's say, Darkchild beat. |

He just continues the trend that you don't need real singing abilities these days anymore. Good songwriter, but he can't sing at all.

This Track is AAAAIIIIGHT. Nothing really special. The beat is pretty average and the vocals are good. This just isn't a huge hit to me. I will throw it into rotation, but that's about it!

The song has The-Dream writtin all over it. Anyone who has ever heard the dream can admit that. Overall the song is smooth and has a great flow. Personally i can't wait to hear what hes gonna give the listeners next. It is true though that the beat is The-Dream's signature and it would be nice to see him mix it up a little bit, but if its works, which it does, don't try to fix it!

its alright, but i've heard a few songs from love vs money that were MUCH better. i lyk Right Side of Ya Brain, that was better than this. This song is good, dont get me wrong, but The-Dream has been on so many songs that his style is almost starting to get a little old, so he should switch it up for a few tracks on his new album.
